Chapter 3

Amber’s POV

It’s been 5 days from that incident of club. Right after I left the club Jane, Kelly and Jake came behind me. “Oh God! Am what did you do? How can you slap The Lucas Knight? Huh” Kelly exclaimed. Now I think this Lucas is some rich and arrogant jerk who is known by almost everyone. “ you are right Kelly, Amber you are in great trouble now. The way he was looking at you I am sure he is planning something bad for you” Jake said to me with concerned lacing in his voice. "Don’t scare her guys he might not do anything he should know he is wrong here” Jane said as expected from my bestie. “And even if he does something, you have got me I’ll protect you” she added with a wink. I smiled at my friends concern for me and told them not to worry about me.

The ringing of bells took me out of my thoughts indicating new customer has come. Surprisingly there are no customer today unlike other days. That’s why we took our lunch break early but I am not hungry so here I am standing at counter. I looked up from my phone and froze in my place.

There in front of me was standing the devil itself 'Lucas'. Why is he here? Maybe he is here just to eat lunch, don’t be nervous act normal I composed myself and tried to act normal and said in my polite tone “welcome to fine diner sir, I'll show you to your table”. I turned and walk away. He followed behind and sit on the chair with his friends taking other chairs whom I just noticed now.

He is around 6.3 He was wearing white shirt and black pants. Top three button of his shirt were open giving slight view of his chest. He is so handsome, with those green eyes and brown hair which looks so smooth, he looks like a Greek god. Sound of clearing of throat brought me back to reality and I was so embarrassed for staring at him like that. “ like what you see” Mr. Knight asked me with a smirk on his face. I smiled politely and replied “ I have seen much better”. It caused his friends to laugh.

I gave them menu and said” someone will come to take your order” there is no way I will serve them I will ask Emily or Natasha to take this order. Just as I was going, he said “ I want you to take our order”. The audacity of this man who does he think he is to order me around. “ You don’t get to order me sir, I don’t have to listen to you someone else will come soon.” I said and heard the voices of other waiters. Finally they are done with the lunch.

Jane saw the customer and after noticing who he is she came running to me, stood by my side and said” I will take care of this go eat your lunch”.

I nodded and turn around to leave and heard her asking “Are you ready with your order sir", “yes” he said.

“what should I get for you” she asked again and the answer he gave made me stop in my track “Ms. Amber Stokes” he replied in his deep voice giving me chills.

I turn around to see he is already staring at me. ‘How did he found my name' I thought. He got up from his chair and started walking in my direction “I was going to do it nicely but you forced me to do it hard way” he said standing right in front of me. His taller frame intimidating me little bit. I hear shouts and look around to find his friends has taken out their guns and pointing it towards my friends. I put my hand on my mouth when a scream left my lips. I am scared for them. I don’t want anyone to get hurt because of me. My heart is beating loudly due to fear. “Now like a good girl come with me or I'll kill everyone and take you by force” the devil said. I couldn’t form any word to say. I was still looking around at terrified faces of my friends.

He grabbed my arm and started taking me out of diner. I just let him do it as I couldn’t let them harm my friends. When we were outside I saw one of his guy dragging Jane as well.

“What are you doing with her? Where are you taking her?” I tried to say with confidence but failed miserably.

“We are taking her with you, now sit” he motioned me to sit in car. “you can’t do this, just do whatever you want with me and let my friend go?” I said to him.

“Trust me kitten I can do as I please, now shut up and sit if you don’t want your friend to die” he threatened. “ I won’t, let my friend go” I said.

“still being stubborn huh alright, Chris” he called and the man holding Jane put his gun on her temple and started pulling trigger slowly.

“ I..I will… sit” I stuttered due to fear. I will do what he want but won’t let them hurt my friend.

The guy named Chris put his gun down while smirking. I shakily went towards his car and sat down. No matter what I can’t let my friend get hurt because of me. I will do anything to protect her. I felt someone putting blind fold over my eyes and everything became dark. I don’t know where they are taking us and what is his plan. I am scared. My heart is still beating so fast.

But the only thing coming in my mind again and again was 'what does this devil want from me'.

Unknown POV

“Are you sure you saw her there. You are not mistaken right” I asked to confirm one more time.

“ Yes sir I am not mistaken, I really saw her leaving that club 5 days ago I even follow her but she got in a cab and went away.” Rex said. He is one of my man. I had sent him to Claremont regarding a deal. Today he came back. He just told me that he saw my Am there.

“ why didn’t you tell me earlier” I asked him through gritted teeth. He gulped in fear. “ sir I tried to call you many times but couldn’t reach you” he said with nervousness. I tried to control my anger. At least now I know where is she.

“ Get me the CCTV footage near that club I want to see it with my own eyes. Send our men to Claremont and check each and every apartment, every house and everywhere. I want her location in two days, do you understand.” I said to him.

“But sir how can I in only two..” he stopped while looking at my furious eyes. I was daring him to continue with my cold glare. He gulped in fear and said the words I wanted to hear “Yes sir.”

I dismissed him and went to sit on sofa. I once again found myself loosing in her memories. I am loosing my mind each day without her. Finally I know where she is. I will bring her back to her right place where she belongs, in my arms. And if I have to chain her to keep with me I won’t hesitate to do it.
