“I love you Amber”
The words left my mouth even before I could stop myself. Well it is true that I love her but I wanted to confess my feelings in much better way. Not when I am hovering over her small frame on a hospital bed when she needs a lot of rest.
I cursed myself for confessing my feelings to her in such situation. She has gone through a lot recently.
She is staring at my face without saying anything. I could not read what she is thinking about. Her silence is making me nervous. What if she rejects my love or say that she hates me.
At the thought that she might hate me my heart clenched in pain. I don’t know how I will be able to take it when she will utter those words from her mouth.
