Amber’s POV
Tom is taking me and Jane to our rooms when I asked him “ can I stay with her in my room?” he was thinking for a while then nodded and started walking again. When we came inside he left.
“What did you do Am, why did you do this?” she asked there are tears in her eyes “ how can you submit to him? You don’t have to do this for me.” She added.
I made her sit on the bed and sat beside her. “I can and I will do anything to get you out of this place.” I told her and it is true I can do anything to protect her. I can’t let my another friend getting hurt because of me. I won’t be able to handle the pain 'again’.
“You are stuck here because of me. I am sorry Jane I am so so sorry.” I told her genuinely feeling guilty.
