Annie knew exactly what it would take to win me around. I could have gone shopping knowing that Charlie had probably said some shitty things about me. But when she mentioned the other girls, I had to stay and visit them before the shopping trip. I felt like I owed it to them. Thank the Goddess that Evelyn had the power to be able to erase peoples minds. They would never remember their k********g and possible torture, before almost being burnt alive. I shuddered when I thought about what might have happened if Albi hadn't heard their muffled cries.
To appease my grumpy mate, honestly I really didn't think he'd mind missing a shopping trip, I told him that we could spend the entire day together tomorrow, without any interruptions. His birthday was in three days
