There was no getting away from it! I had royally f****d up! Hope had been gone for over four hours now and Albi was losing his mind. I couldn't believe I'd done something so stupid! What an imbecile.
At first it was only me that had to go out and find her. My Dad had linked Albi and told him that I was going to fix things by apologizing profusely and that I would come home with Hope and apologise to him too. I'd been livid when Annie had told me what my father had done. But my anger started to give way to apprehensiveness when, an hour later, I hadn't managed to locate her. This was my home and I knew the territory like the back of my hand. So if she was here, then I was one of the most qualified to find her.
