Chapter 6Harland ran through the forest only to slow down to a walk when he reached civilization. He’d brought a backpack for the groceries but headed for Jameson’s apartment first. Jameson had reluctantly handed over his key and given his address, along with a list of things he wanted. Harland jogged up the stairs to the third floor, passing a young man on the second, and noted another smoking on the fire escape on the third. A tenant or someone watching Jameson’s apartment? It didn’t matter. They wouldn’t recognize him anyway. He was using glamor. All they would see was a nondescript man coming and going from Jameson’s apartment. He unlocked the door and walked in, only to scrunch his face. It was tiny, and Jameson hardly had any things at all. There was nothing on the walls, no flower
