At Maldives - first day

Chapter 19

After having one of the most satisfying breakfasts I ever had, we start preparing to explore this island. 

"You're things are inside the Louis Vuitton Keepall bag, Amelia pack it for you" I say when I noticed Anika walking around looking for something. 

"Oww! Thank you" She just said then smiles at me and walks into the bathroom. 

I started preparing also, I get my swimming trunks and shirts and go to the bathroom outside near the pool area. When I'm done, I get our coupled Christian Dior slip-on I told Amelia to pack.

I sit on the couch facing the sea and started setting up the Go-Pro Camera I decided to brought since I haven't bought any camera for Anika, I knew she'll regret for not taking pictures of this island and I can't let that happen, besides I won't also let this moments pass without capturing the best for us. 

I started testing the go pro by taking a video on the Pullman Launches starting on the scenic ocean going inside and suddenly stop when I saw Anika being captured in her white paired two piece swim suit looking so desirable. Her swim wear complements her body completely showing off her golden skin, her long copper straight hair covering the back of her body that adds-on to her alluring appeal, her clear face that shines when hit by a ray of the sun, she's like a goddess everyone would fight for. 

"You better close that mouth before a fly goes inside those beautiful white teeth" Anika said when she noticed me staring deeply at her. 

"And you better get something to cover that slinking body or we are not going to leave this Pullman" I said raising a brow. 

She walks into her bag again and looks for something to wear, she ends up wearing a white lace crochet cover up and started putting sunblock on her skin. I can't help but just stare at her while doing her things, she started packing some things on her rattan bag and wear our coupled Christian Dior slip-on. When I think she's done, I grab her hands and my bag as we walk into the boat parked at the side of the pool. 

When we reach the boat, I started the engine and we both wear our sunglasses, I bring out and gave her the go pro which she receives with gladness, smile curves her perfect shape lips. When she's about to sit, I grab her hands and makes her sit on my lap. She looks at me and I know she's glaring but I don't mind and just smile with the thought of us sharing moments together.

As we go near the first Island, she stands in amusement of the place, she started taking pictures using the go pro. I carried her down as we stop and explore the island. She was like a like brought to the Disney Land looking at the Disney characters.

“Shall we?” I ask giving her a hand which she receives happily. I hold her soft and candle like hands.

We started doing some activities when we reach the tour site, we first tried the parasailing, Anika was really something, she haven’t fear of heights, when we we’re high above a while ago she looks like an angel flying without wings. We’ve been there for almost 15 minutes when she decided to go down and do some surfing because she saw other playing with the waves.

When we reach the ground, we rushed to get our surfing boards, all I thought I’m going to baby sit her with the waves, but surprisingly she toast better than me.

“Do you have something that you don’t know?” I said while standing on the surfing board.

“My feelings for you” She chuckles and makes her way to the waves. I was left there dumbfounded.

We stop at around 3 o’clock in the afternoon when we finally felt our stomach empty. 

“Let’s eat first” I said while giving back our surfing boards to one of the island staff, she’s a woman but the way she looks at Anika, admiration with envy can be seen in her face as she looks at her. I bet Anika didn’t notice that because she keeps on taking pictures.

“I really love this place, the ocean, the sky specially the waves, while surfing a while ago, I felt that the waves are dancing with me.” She said while I put on her her swim suit cover up.

“You talk much” I said then let a small laugh, but that doesn’t refrain her from talking.

“I want to stay here for months until I knew this place because 3 days wasn’t  enough to explore this scenic place, we haven’t seen yet their rural life, their ethnic group, their best food here, and –“

“You better stop now or else I will kiss those lips for you to stop talking” I said cutting her sentence that makes her frown.

“Don’t waste your energy, we still have a lot of things to explore here love” I said holding her hands while walking.

We found a hidden restaurant that serves fresh sushi, we end up in a Korean restaurant, Anika craves for samsyupsal. We ordered a lot since we needed to eat because we still have a lot of activities to do and besides knowing Anika, she will think of other stuffs to do here.

We share the late lunch with laughter and teasing, she has really a lot to say, she’s so talkative that you can never get bored when you are with her, she seems like the first time having someone in life that she can chat with.

“Ahhh” I said trying to put sushi with wasabi on her mouth. I feed her while she does the talking even with full food on her mouth.

“Aren’t you tired of talking love?” I said that makes her raise a brow.

“Why? Are you tired of listening?” She said in irritation that makes me chuckle.

“Just eat, you need a lot of energy for our activities later.” I said giving her another set of sushi dipped in soy sauce.

After finishing our food and resting for a while, we went for snorkeling. I suggest we go for scuba diving but she said its more exciting with snorkeling.

“I’m excited to search the underwater and swim with the sea creatures” Anika said while I put on her mask and snorkel.

“You better not swim away from me or else I will empty this ocean just to get you” I said threatening her which she just return with a loud laugh.

“You can’t do that” She said still laughing

“I will make things possible when it comes to you” I said then hold her hand as we follow the instructor. We first ride a jet ski before we went diving deep the water.

We holds hands while we swim, the instructor gets the go pro to take videos and photos of us. We swim with the whale sharks, with the dolphins even the beluga and orca. Anika’s face was full of happiness, full of wonder and admiration on the sea creatures. It’s been two hours since we we’re under water when the instructor told us to pull off the water, Anika wants to stay longer but the instructors resist seeing her fearless side holding on into the sharks, while I can’t afford to let bad things happened to Anika, I just followed the instructors.

“I really wanted to stay a little bit longer under the sea” Anika rants while we we’re on the beach returning our equipment.

“The instructors knows best, besides it’s getting dark, let’s go back to the launches” I said contesting her.

“Let’s explore a little bit more before we go back” She said pointing the other way to our direction.

“Save that for later, let’s change clothes and look for something to eat later” I said that calms her eagerness.

“Okay then” She said in compliance.

We take off our slippers as we arrived at the Pullman and started looking for something to wear on our bags.

“Who pack my things” Anika said while taking out her clothes on her bag, putting it on a hanger and placing it inside the cabinet.

“I asked Amelia to pack those clothes, why?” I while pouring water on a cup.

“So you choose these paired of clothes?” Anika said that makes me look into her,

“Why?” I said nervously

“You’re taste is great” That compliments makes me tease her.

“Are you telling that because I chose you” I walk to her and grabs her waist

“That one is given” She said confidently.

I just smirk and kissed her head then walks into the outside bathroom to clean myself.

When I’m done in the bathroom, I dial the restaurant number to deliver us food and drinks for dinner. I’m too tired to cook with all the activities we’ve done here, as soon as the person in the call got my orders, I drop it and sit on the couch facing the ocean. I take out the go pro from the bag and check our photos. I was so hooked in watching our videos when we were under water that I haven’t notice Anika is standing at my back also looking at the photos.

“Have we captured the best moments?” Anika ask who was already sitting on my side.

“Every moment with you is the best” I said looking straight into her eyes.

We sat there laughing at watching some of the videos when a boat stops and an island crew delivers our orders. I give my black card to pay for the food, as soon as the crew was done, they immediately left. I walk into the table near the pool where Anika was waiting.

“Shall we?” She said while holding the utensils.

“Let’s put those in our belly” I grab my chair and place it near Anika.

As usual, I eat and laugh while Anika talks laugh and eats. She really has a lot of things to tell, she’s like an open book. When our plate was empty I open the branded whisky for me.

“You ordered whisky huh?” She asked looking at the bottle

“Yes and the wine is a freebie” I said while putting whisky on my glass.

“I will get a water for you” I added, I was about to stand when Anika stops me.

“No, I’ll drink the whiskey too” She said then get the bottle of whiskey and pour some on her glass.

“Toast” She said raising her glass which I also did the same.

I watch her laugh and talk and that thing is something I will never get bored off, her hair blows with the winds that makes her ever more alluring. She didn’t wore any make up so I knew that whats making her rosy cheeks even brighter was because of the alcohol, she talks a lot so she doesn’t notice she already drink a lot.

“You better stop drinking or else you’ll have a hangover tomorrow, and this is not a place for hangover. “ I pour water on her glass for her to drink.

“I would have never thought that reviving you that day will place me to where I am now, I would have never thought I would have a life like this.” Anika said and then walks into the couch to sit comfortably.

“Even though you don’t like where you are now, I will not take another life just to change what happened” I follows her into the couch and sit beside her.

She change her position, sits near me and lean on my chest, I place my hand on her waits that will able me to hug her.

“I would never think that reviving you that day was reviving my life. It was not you who was saved that day, it was me, and meeting you that day was meeting the person who changed my life” Anika said while cupping my face looking straight into my eyes.

I’m just a man head over heels into this woman and because of the alcohol on my body, I didn’t control myself, I give in into the urge of kissing Anika.

Her soft lips taste like strawberries, we kiss passionately, my hands started to explore and grasp every inch of her body when I realize this is not right. I end our kiss, I respect her that much that I want to wait for the day she’ll willingly gives her all to me, not just because of the influence of alcohol into our body.

“I love you so much My Anika” I whisper in her ears, she sits on my lap hugging my neck and resting her head on the crook of my neck, her soft skin that touches mine makes my thing down there erect, but I fought with that urges.

I rub her back and play with her hair, her signature smell that makes everyone long for it makes me calm. I know she’s asleep now.

The ocean and the moon witnessed how I respect and loved my Anika, that I will trade everything possible into this world just to keep her with me. I thanked God for bringing Anika into my life.

I carried her into the bed and lay beside her. She was resting on my right hands and hugging me from his left hands. I brush my finger into her hair and soon sleep visits me.
