At Maldives – Second day

Chapter 20

I woke up with the sun rays on my eyes, half sleep, I grope on the bed to search for Isaac but I touch just the blanket so I half open my eyes to check but the bed is already half empty. I smelled a pasta sauce in the kitchen, I turn around and saw Isaac half naked, slicing on the table. I walk through the kitchen and sit on the toll in front on him.

“Is that my breakfast?” I ask looking at his perfectly broad body.

“Of course if you really want to” He said teasing me back,

“I suggest it’s better for dinner” He smirk while putting a glass of water with lemon on the table.

“Really, should I? I said and sip on my water.

“Cut it off Anika, if you really want to you should have grab me on the bed” He said in irritation that makes me laugh on his facial expression

He puts the past on a table and pour sauce top with prawns, he place on the table and sit in the stool beside me.

“Wow! Are a chief in your past life?” I said as I taste the pasta.

“Is that a compliment or you’re teasing me again” He said spinning his fork to get pasta.

“No, this one is really good” I said trying to convince him, but kidding aside this taste really good.

“Then finish your food so we can go island hopping again” Isaac said that makes me eat fast the food.

After eating, he gave me a capsule of vitamins to drink which I find kindhearted, I really hope this is not just Florence Nightingale effect. It will wound me a deep if this happens.

As soon as he left the room and use the bathroom outside, I change into my red two piece swim suit and wear a see through boho pants. I put some stuffs in the rattan bag I used yesterday, put sunscreen protection before I slide my feet on my Christian Dior slip on which matches with Isaac, I find it cute you know. I grab my LV sunglasses before I walk outside the room.

“Are you ready?” I asked Isaac when I saw him sitting on the couch preparing the go pro

“Is that thing use to cover only your legs?” He asked instead of answering me.

“O c’mon, we are in such a beautiful beach, what do you expect me to wear? Hoody and jogger?” I said teasing him that makes him raise a brow.

“Cut the attitude, or else, we’ll fly back to Greece” That threat is effective.

“You know, I will not distance myself from you, I’ll always be here beside you and holds your hands like this” I hold his hand tight and raise it to show it to him. I smile with the thought that I was the one initiating this, the other side of me I think.

“If that’s the case, then I think we’re ready” He said and then grabs his bag.

The sun shines brightly as we go the other island with our boat, the sound of the waves serves as our music. I took a lot o pictures of the place and of course ours. I’m excited to paint this when we get back home.

We first tried Sky-boarding, it’s my first’s time doing this activity and I enjoyed it so much, especially when Isaac rush to pick me up every time I fall in the water, which I actually do on purpose at times. I just hope he didn’t notice that, or else I just want to be eaten by a hippo.

“That’s enough Anika, Let’s stop it” He said while gesturing the instructors to take us down.

“Why” I said in confusion

“Look at your skin, it’s getting red, specially your arms every time you fell on the water” He said looking at me so concerned, so I guess I’m good at acting.

“Can we do it one last time? I promise I will not fall again” I said raising my pointy finger.

“You better not fall again” He said and looks at the instructors signaling them to get ready.

“Just hold my hand, I’ll catch you before you touch the water.” He added

This time I make sure I will not fall, we’ve sky board a little bit far and I fell again – on purpose and Isaac catch right before I landed on the water, I guess I’m not a man of words with it comes to teasing him.

“Enough with this” The instructors immediately rush to us in panic hearing the loud voice of Isaac.

They put us down into our boat carefully, Isaac first followed by me, they removed Isaac’s safety equipment and of course, Isaac removed the equipment's from my body as no one is allowed to touch me.

As soon as the instructors left I set up the go pro.

“Are you ready?” I asked smiling childishly

“What” Isaac said but before he figure out I run and jump into him, he run out of balance so he grabs my waist that makes us fall into the water. We both laugh when we reach the top, I didn’t notice we we’re so near to each other when I can felt his breath against my skin, my left hands are resting on his shoulders while holding the go pro on my right hands, his right hands is wrap around my waist.

“Let’s go swim around love” Isaac said then grabs my hands.

We went swimming for a while, and do parasailing. It was fun because the wind blows with us. We went for a lunch first before we tried the bungee jumping, luckily I ate light lunch only.

“Are you sure you want to do this” Isaac said while putting the safety equipment's on me.

“I’m nervous but you know, I haven’t tried this one yet, so I want it to try it with you” I said in low voice trying to avoid looking at him.

“Aren’t you afraid? It’s quite high up here love” He said cupping my face

“Should I?” He shakes his head and kisses me on my head.

“Thank you for trusting me” He said looking straight into my eyes, those eyes are the once I’m afraid to lose.

“Let’s not prolong this agony, shall we” He added.

He nods on the guides signaling that we’re ready, they check first the safety cables and properly place our hands on each other, Isaac wrapping his hands around my waist while they placed my two hands on his neck for security, and we look like hugging tightly each other.

“Reminder ma’am/sir, don’t remove your hands to your partner on where we place them, once you take off your hands to them, you’ll going to lose them.” The instructors said

“That’s quite a rule huh” Isaac said and then smirk.

“At the count of three we will push you” The instructor added, Isaac nod in response and on three we we’re push to a great height.

I just let a loud shout when we we’re on air and just closed my eyes hugging tightly Isaac, while he enjoyed being on the air,

“Woah” He shouted.

I just opened my eyes when we finally reach the bottom, the island guides are on a boat waiting our landing.

“That was awesome” Isaac said while removing the chords on me.

“I will never do that again” I said still shock.

“You should look at your face love” He said laughing trying to cover his mouth

I hit him hard due to annoyance.

“Finally you have something to be nervous of” He said still trying to control his laugh.

“I’m more afraid of losing those eyes that tells me I’m safe every time it looks at me.” I said looking deeply into his eyes, as soon as I finished my sentence I walk and left him still standing there.

And with that I knew we’re even already.
