Isaac's Surprise Party

Chapter 44

I was woken up by a heavy arm around my waist, it was Isaac who was sleeping peacefully beside me, how handsome this creature is, I brush my hands into his curly dark black soft hair, I can't help but to admire his features, I've never seen a man as attracting as he is, plus he has a good heart. Looking at his face is so addicting but I know I have to get up and prepare for the day. Today, God had given me the opportunity to treat Isaac the way he treated me, I know I can never do more than that nor the same as that but I wanted to try and make him feel special as well, for all the month I've stayed at his mansion, I never make him feel that way, and now that I know I have fallen for this man, I wanted him to feel that I needed him in my life, now that I've fallen for him I wanted him to know that I fully open my heart for him, and I hope with this, he can get the signal that I have fallen deeply in love with him. 

I check on the clock beside our bedside table, and I was woken up on time, enough time for me to prepare for the event of the day. I caress Isaac's face for the last time before I get up. I lift up his arms carefully and place it on a pillow for him not to notice my absence so I can go on with my plans. 

I took a nice bath, I will wear the dress I prepared that matches with Isaac's attire for the day. I don't want it to be too formal since we didn't invite anyone so I prepared a dress enough for the venue and occasion, and since I still have a lot of things to prepare on the venue so I choose to wear a shorts paired with hanging shirt and sneakers, enough for me to walk and move around the venue. I packed my clothes because I will just change later on the venue since Blake also book a room there. When I think I'm ready, I called Blake who's with me through out of the preparation. Luckily, I have them. I took a glance at Isaac who was still in his deep slumber. 

"I think I don't approve that kind of clothes here, we're in Finland not America, it might be cold outside." Blake protest as I opened the door to our room. 

"I wear heat packs, don't worry I won't catch a cold." I said while I hand them over the things I need to bring at the venue. 

"C'mon Anika, you show too much of your skin any guys out there might just come and grab you to us." He said angrily. 

Instead of arguing with him I walk back to my clothes and look for something to wear to shut Blake's mouth. I found a Isaac's black leather Jacket, it was so big that it cover up to my shorts. When I get back, Blake still disapproves my clothes but I walked out of the room immediately so he can't protest anymore and just followed me outside. 

We headed straight to the venue with Buck, Blake was all over his phone the whole travel and it annoys me, his phone is beeping almost every second. I just sigh and look out of the window. I noticed black cars are following us. 

"Someone is following us." I said but Blake and Buck just remain calm. 

"They are sent from Jake, don't worry the area is secured." Blake said not even glancing at me focusing on his phone which irritates me. 

"Can you stop using your phone? You're irritating me, to whom are you talking to?" I said angrily but they both just laugh which annoys me even more.

"Okay! I'll just turn my phone in silent." Blake said still grinning. 

Blake and Buck irritates me, they're ruining my mood. it felt like they are hiding something from me. I sign and exhaled the bad vibes because I can't get distracted right now. I planned for this a week already and my hunches doesn't need to intervene right now, then I was reminded again that my instincts was always right. 

"Hey! Anika, we're here." Blake said that get me back to my present. 

"You're over thinking again, don't think of anything and focus here today." He said while assisting me getting out of the car. 

"Don't worry, I will not leave you today just like before big sis, nothing bad will happen, just enjoy the day." Blake added that calms my heart knowing he's considering me as his sister. I know he was referring to day Casper tried something bad on me, he left that day that makes Casper done his bad deeds but he didn't succeed. 

"Thank you!" I just said and hugged him. 

"Woaah! No skin ship please, boss might get the wrong idea." He said raising both his hands. 

"Fine! let's get going." I said and started walking inside the hotel, followed by Buck and Blake. There are also man in black suits following us from behind. 

Everyone on the hotel stare at us while we walk to the elevator. I immediately dialed the coordinator's number to inform her we are already here. We headed to the function hall where the coordinator texted me. the hall is not that big since we didn't invite friend just the family, and I might be the only flower in these torns. 

"Where is the cake and painting?" I asked the coordinator once she saw us. 

"The cake is still at refrigerator ma'am but the painting was wrapped already and I placed it on stand there." She said pointing at the right corner of the stage behind the piano. I just nodded in response. 

"Is there still you want to change on the decorations ma'am or you want to add?" She asked. 

"I want you to remove the decorations there, not all just reduce because it seems over decorated. Remove also his picture at the center, this will look like a funeral. Just his name and add more lights at the center so it wouldn't look dull." I said while she take notes nervously of what I've said. 

"I want it to be not too formal and boring but with class" I added then smiles at the coordinator who's having a hard time taking notes. 

"Just calm and keep things accordingly." I said holding on to her hands, she smiles and nodded. 

I left her as soon as I finish giving instructions, then I started with the food preparation. I'm about to go to the kitchen when Blake shouted my name. I walked towards him while removing my jacket. 

"Woah! Woah! Why removing your jacket?" He asked stopping me from taking off the jacket and looking around.

"It's hot here because of the heater and the heat packs behind my back." I said while taking off the jacket. I can't bear it anymore. It felt like I'm being toast. 

He called one of the guys and whisper to his ear. I just sit there and drink in a bottle of water. Blake and Buck sits on the table.

"Let's eat first, I ordered this on the hotel restaurant below." I didn't mind what he said because I felt hot. 

"You can take off your jacket now." Blake said, and in a snap I took it off. 

I felt relieved, then I started eating with them. Blake is still on his phone whenever something pop ups. 

After eating breakfast,  I started checking on the menu to be serve while Blake and Buck check the parameters to make sure the party will be solely for us and no unwanted guests, I wish everyone will be here, including my parents. After knowing the truth behind their cold treatment towards me, I understand now why they have to do that. I actually thanked them for giving me to Isaac, because if not I would never knew this feeling. I suddenly missed them.

"You're spacing out." Blake suddenly said who was standing beside me. I didn't notice he was there already. 

"What?" I asked annoyed. 

"You're overthinking again. Wiggle your body to remove the negative thoughts in you." He said while shaking my shoulders. I suddenly smiled with the immaturity. 

"Stop it, I felt dizzy already." I said while smiling.

"Let's go, I'll bring you to your room, a half and hour left already and boss will arrive soon." He said while handling me my jacket. 

"Really?" I said nervously. 

"Yes, that's why let's go now." I picked my phone then we walked out of the function hall. 

We headed directly to the suit where Blake reserved for me. He come inside at the receiving area while the others stay outside the room, we're like having a parade a while ago going here. I first take out the clothes from the bag that I pack and place them on the bed together with the shoes, bags and accessories. 

Since I took a batch already before going here, I just take a quick shower and change into the dress I prepared. I decided to wear a gold metallic atelier mini dress paired with a silver lace 3 inches heels and a silver coach clutch bag. I baked my face and put a light sparkly makeup that matches my dress. I chose not to wear all the accessories I brought just the ring Isaac had gave me. I curl my hair into a big waves letting it fall through my butt. When I think I'm ready, I get my clutch bag and walk out of my room. 

"Wow, you look like you've been transformed." Blake said who was now wearing a black suit that gives him a bad boy look. 

"And you look like a bad ass" I said grinning which makes him raised his brow.

"Let's see who will be a bad ass when boss saw your outfit today." I just rolled my eyes at him. 

We headed to the function hall and saw the changes I've instructed to the coordinator, she was quite good because she managed to do the changes in a short period of time and put into reality what I've wanted to see. I noticed Buck changed into his black suit also, he really looks like someone who can kill a person with just his bare hands. 

"Is everything ready?" I asked the coordinator who walks towards us. 

"Yes ma'am, everything you instructed was followed and --" She said just staring at me. 

"and what?" Still looking at everything, still checking if there's missing. 

"And you look beautiful." She said which makes me look at her. 

"Thank you." I just said and heard Blake chuckling behind me. 

"What?" I asked looking at him. 

"None" He said then just shrugs. 

15 minutes before the arrival of Isaac so I asked them to gave me the cake and be on their positions. I also remind the camera man to be in place also, as planned we will surprise him and hopefully, he can appreciate us. 

I positioned myself at the center with Buck, Blake and other man in black suits, while some stayed at both sides of the door to pop the party popper, now the lights was turn off. Any minute Isaac while open the door and I can't wait to see how he happy he can be with this little surprise for him. Now the candle was lighted and it was the only light that covers the whole place. 

I know I can never be good in expressing feelings like how expert he is but I'm pretty sure, he has a good heart to appreciate little things like this. 

Finally, the door opened up revealing Isaac in his black gold suit that matches my outfit. We all shouted together a happy birthday as the party popper pops along his both sides.
