Chapter 14

I woke up feeling light amidst the body ache due to Jujutsu training, Buck is making up on me with what he’s done before by teaching me Jujutsu which I’m really enjoying because of how it emphasize on a locking techniques not like Karate which is just more of striking techniques and somehow related to me being a doctor since I know what point of the body I can strike to easily make a person fall.

I reached the end of the bed and saw a letter on the side table of it, it was Isaac’s penmanship, and he wrote that he’ll back at lunch. I’m getting used to this little things he do to always remind me that I’m special, this little matters have a huge impact on me. He never failed to make me happy in his own little things.

After taking a nice bath, I walk in my closet a chose a white off shoulder dress that hang just below my knees. I didn’t put any foundations, just wear blush on a lip gloss and let my long hair sway on my body.

It’s been a week since Isaac and I don’t share breakfast together, I used to eat with Jake and the twins, sometimes with the other men depending on who will Isaac left to look after me. On my way down I saw Jake doing some phone call and the twins playing mobile games again, Caleb who playing piano, he always ask me to teach him and Casper standing outside the door.

“Good morning” They immediately followed me when they heard saw me.

“What’s for breakfast?” I asked Amelia who’s wiping the plates.

“Sausage muffin with eggs and sliced of papaya and watermelon” She said while preparing the tray and plate

“I want to have one plate please” I said raising my pointing finger

“I want also” Henry said raising his hand

“Me too, with two sausage muffin please” Harold said sitting beside the stool

I smiled looking at these guys, they’re like brothers to me already.

“I’ve been waiting for you to wake up sleeping beauty” Caleb said standing at my left side.

“Why? Piano lessons again? I must ask for talent fee already” I said that makes him pout.

“Aww, then I have no choice, I’ll just watch you tutorial on Youtube then” He said that makes me and the twins laugh.

“What is all the laughing?” Jake asked while approaching us.

“Nothing, let’s just have breakfast” I said while still laughing.

“I’m already done, I ate together with Isaac” He said rubbing his stomach

“Glad for you, Isaac was able to ate breakfast with you” I said that makes him chuckle

“Wow! Someone is getting jealous” He said then let a loud laugh.

“You don’t need my little sister, I love both of you” He said rubbing my hair like a little kid. I just pouted and eat the food that is now in front of me served by Amelia.

“You twins should hurry eating, we need to come back immediately to train this little girl how to wisely use a gun.” Jake said than stand and make another phone call.

After the long breakfast with the twins, we washed our dishes and went into my bedroom to start my new painting. I was browsing with the photos in my phone when Jake knock the door.

“Anika” I walk into the door to open it.

“Yes?” I said in response

“I have to check our soon to open business just near here, so you to stay here in the house, no going to the mall yet. I will leave Caleb and Casper to look after you” He said looking like a strict brother.

“Yes sir” I said teasing him that makes him smile.

It’s been an hour since Jake and the twins left, I’m still sitting in front of my blank canvass, still can’t think of what do paint. I was so drown in checking sample painting on google when someone suddenly knocks at my door.

“Who’s there” I ask lazily still on my phone.

No one answers so I just ignored it when someone knocks again, this time it loud and forceful. I get up and hold my phone tightly ready to press it just in case something is coming. When I open the door, it was Casper who was banging my door.

“What the hell is your problem” I yelled at him, but those words fell on deaf ears. He makes no response but enters the room without any permission. I suddenly felt highly strung on my chest with his smell, he smells like drugs but I can’t identify what kind, he stops when he finally enter the room and take out something in his pocket and place it the bedside table. I move closer to check what it is and it was a purple candle, it smells different, I realize it was some kind of aphrodisiac so I immediately move away from him. I look at him and I saw lust in his eyes, addiction I said on my mind.

“I’m the one who found you, who watch and make you safe for almost a year, in those months I witness how you saved lives, your independency, your feisty, how you take your bath, how you changed your clothes, I stare you sleep. I know your likes and dislikes, I know your every little things.” I almost want to throw my phone in his face, but I refrain because this is the most important thing as of now.

“Isaac doesn’t deserve you, his s**t and busted because of his past, he don’t give you his full time. I can give mine, you can have full me if you wish” He said walking towards me.

The aphrodisiac was all over the room and having an effect on me, but as Casper holds my hand I slap his face hard, but the next thing happened was not expected, I run into the door but it’s too late because he grab me already and throw me into the bed which makes my phone fall into the floor. He pull his body into mine and rest his face on the crook of neck. I tried to push him but my strength was not enough so I look around to that can help me. I saw my lamp on the side bed table and try to reach for it, I grab it and smash it in his head. I push him and he fell on the floor growling due to the blood dripping in his head. I immediately pick my phone on the floor and rushed into the door.

“Caleb? Amelia?” I run downstairs, my voice echoing at the mansion as I called out for them but I got no response.

“Everyone is out my princess, I made sure it’s just you and me” He said walking after me not minding the blood dripping on his face.

I run downstairs and click the button on the left upper corner of my phone to alarm Isaac on what is happening to me. I want to remain focus but anxiety is dominating me not knowing what this devil can do to me. My instincts was right, I know I can’t trust this person, his obsessive.

As I reached the first floor, I run into caveman room and lock the door. I don’t know where Casper is, but I have to go call someone. I dialed Isaac’s number and there I heard the voice that gives calmness to my shaking body, I felt my tears running down my cheeks.

“I’m coming home love, are you okay?” He said in a loud and angry voice but I felt his worries in that voice.

“Please come back now” I said almost an utter.

“Cas-” Casper grab the phone on my and press the end call button and put it in his pocket.

“Isaac will make sure you’ll going to pay for this, you will be in hell” I said in gritted teeth.

“Yes, but before that, I have to experience heaven first” He smirks and injected to me something.

 I tried to kick him but I fell on the floor, what he injected me is too strong I can’t control my body anymore. Too weak to stand, Casper carried me into his arms, my body was shaking due to the drug he put in my body, I just felt my tears competing with each other from falling. Where are you Isaac? I asked myself.
