For years, no calls ♫

I was woken up by the ringtone of my phone. I reached for it and saw it was Jake who’s calling. Why will Jake suddenly call I asked myself.

“Yes?” I asked still half awake

“Wake up sleeping beauty.” Jake said loudly on the other line.

“What’s with the voice? Why are you calling?” I asked annoyed.

“Wake up my lovely sister, the sun is setting. You only have 2 hrs left to prepare my dearest sister.” He said that makes me confused.

“What? Where are we going?” I asked consecutively but it fell on deaf ears.

“I sent someone to help you prepare, she’s on her way there.” I even got more confused with what is going on.

“What is really happening here.” Now all my nerves are awake because of Jake

“I’ll see you later sister. I wish nothing but the best for you.” Jake said then hung up the phone.

Now Jake is getting into my nerves, he suddenly hung up the phone without answering any of my questions and keep on talking nonsense.

Then I noticed I was already on the bed. Isaac was no longer here, I look around expecting to find him but he was not here. I tried to dial his number but it is cannot be reached. I tried to dial Jake this time but his number is also out of coverage. I got scared of what is happening, I need to see Isaac to make sure nothing wrong is going on.

The bell suddenly rings, I rushed to open the door, standing in-front of my door is a woman carrying some stuffs and a bunch of men in black suite guarding this room.

“Hi Madam” She said, a woman in her late twenties might be, Laura was written in her nameplate.

“Laura right?” I asked

“Yes madam, I’m here to help you prepare for tonight.” She’s replied politely.

I let her enter into my room before I asked her another question again.

“Do you know where Isaac is?” I asked while she put her things on the bed.

“Who is Isaac madam?” She asked which frustrates me.

“Never mind.” I replied annoyed.

“I’ll just take a shower.” I said then left her on the room.

When I enter the bathroom, I dialed Blake’s number because he might help me. Thanks God he picked up his phone.

“Thanked God you answer the call.” I said as soon as he answered my call.

“Why do you need anything?” He asked on the other line.

“Where are you? Someone is here on my room and said she will help me prepare for tonight. What the hell is happening?” I said without breathing.

Blake just laughs on the line which frustrates me even more.

“Don’t worry, everything is fine, everything is according to the plan and worry nothing or else you will look ugly later.” He said chuckling.

“Where is Isaac? I want to see him.” I plead, I just really wanted to see him.

“You will see him later. Make sure you look pretty or else I will laugh hard on you. See you.” He said then hangs up the phone.

What’s with these guys? Two men already hang up the line on me today.

I look at the ring Isaac gave me and inhaled deeply.

“Oh God! Please help me.” I utter.

I put my phone aside and take off my clothes.

I took a quick shower and went out of the room wearing undergarments covered with just a bathrobe.

I was in owe when I saw a sparkly long sleeves sequin pink long dress on the bed, it has a long V shape at the center revealing the cleavage of who ever will wear that.

“You will look ever more beautiful in that gown madam?” Laura asked.

“Are you the one who chose this?” I asked still looking at the dress.

“No madam, this was given to me to help you prepare.” I just nod in response.

“Let’s start madam, please sit here.” She said guiding me to sit in front of the mirror.

“Just make it natural.” I said before she started.

I closed my eyes letting Laura took care of everything, but deep inside me I was nervous, I was afraid and confused. I’m beginning to understand Isaac has prepared something for me. Just like what he's done when we went to Maldives, when he gave me the promise ring. I still felt the same feeling like before but this time, I felt heavy, heavy that seems I am suffocated because nervousness eats me.

“What are you up to Isaac?” I utter which makes Laura stop from what her doing.

“Pardon Madam?” She said, I just shook my head and she continues with her task.

I closed my eyes for a few more minutes before Laura said she’s done. She was quite good, the makeup didn’t cover up my natural beauty.

“Is this okay with you Madam?” She asked as we bought look at the mirror.

“Yes, this is fine with me.” I said smiling at her that makes her put at ease.

“Please wear your gown madam before I styled up your hair. “ Laura is so polite that she even bows down to me every time she talks. She left the room to give time for me to change.

The gown hugs my body perfectly, like the gown was design for my size. I look like a star shining brightly with this gown. Now this is my new favorite, I said to myself.

I call Laura to enter the room so she can finish whatever she needs to do.

Laura suddenly covers her mouth as soon as she saw me.

“You look like a Goddess Madam.” She said, I just smiled in return.

“Please allow me to make your crown now Madam.” She added as she gesture me to sit in front of the mirror again.

She made a hair line at the center and curls my hair up to the end, and then makes a classic case, the half up and half down hairstyle.

 The dress comes with a clutch pouch and jewelries and an apricot clear high block heels. I choose to wear the earrings only, my promise ring is enough already.

The pouch has a cash inside as usual, I just put my phone inside.

“Do you still need anything madam?” Laura suddenly asked.

“None thanks.” I replied shortly.

“I’ll go ahead then madam, I think my task here is already done. You need no to put make up actually because you are beautiful, you really looks like a goddess.” Laura commented which flatters my heart.

“Before I leave do you want me to take a picture of you madam?” I nodded in excitement, I almost forgot I love taking pictures because of my nervousness.

I stand on the glass window to have the city lights be my background. Laura took a few shots before she finally leaves the room.

I was left alone in the room and the silence makes me crazy.

I take out my phone and started dialing Blake’s number when someone suddenly knocks and open the door, it was Blake.

“I was about to call you.” I said as soon as he enters.

“Wow! You look like a goddess.” Blake commented who was also wearing a suit, the bad boy look again.

“I’ve heard that before.” I said that makes us laugh.

“You seem at ease.” Blake said as he sits beside me.

“Ease? I’m nervous, confused, and scared.” I said looking at him.

“Everything will be fine, your brother is here.” Blake said genuinely that makes me really believe it.

“Thank you.” I said sincerely.

“Tonight is not mine, so I have to bring you there now before Jake eats me alive.” Blake said then we get up to leave the room.

A Mercedes bench was waiting for us in front of the Hotel.

“Blake, can you sit here beside me?” I said as I sat inside the car. Blake’s seems not convince.

“This nervousness makes me crazy, please.” I said.

Now Blake sat beside me, I just look out of the window car while touching the promise ring Isaac gave me.

“Are you okay?” Blake asked looking so concerned.

“My heart will explode any minute now, please tell me what is happening.” Blake smiles and holds my hands.

“You are the best person I met so far, you treated me as your own brother, and you are the first woman whom I allow to enter into my life. You annoys me, hates me, shout at me but you always cared for me. My biggest mistake in life is letting Casper do something bad at you but you’re such a strong person that even he can’t handle you.” Blake said that adds up to my mix emotion right now.

“All I wanted to say is, you deserve all the best in this world.” Blake finally said that makes me want to cry.

“Woah! Woah! Don’t cry. Do you want Jake to beat me up to death?” He said that makes us laugh.

I don’t know how long this car is moving but Blake said we are finally here. I got even more nervous, this can only be removed when Isaac shows up and hugs me.

“Let’s go” Blake said as he open the car’s door.

Jake approaches us looking so neat and handsome, and then I remember Jake was left at Greece to take care of the business.

“Isaac really knows how to choose a woman. You look so beautiful my dear sister.” Jake said hugging me which I slightly returned with a small hug because I’m curious.

“Aren’t you supposedly in Greece? Why are you here?” I asked which makes them look at each other than chuckles.

“You will know later, for now I wanted you to enjoy the night. Do I look good?” He suddenly asks which makes me smile.

“You look good.” I said genuinely.

“Hey! How about me?” Blake suddenly intervenes.

“Don’t worry your bad boy look looks good on you.” I said that makes him post, we all laugh at that.

“I’ll leave you two then. I still need to prepare something.” Blake said then rushed on the other side.

“Shall we?” Jake asked offering his arms on me which I gladly accepts.
