The gas filled the air. She couldn’t even see what was happening but if they were still coming at her, they should be eating her up already. She wondered if they had backed out for a second. She sprayed more of the extinguisher and sighed. “Please, Jeremy”
The gas cleared up, slowly. She raised the fire extinguisher again, wondering whether to spray more of it. She heard a quick hard hit and a sharp groan, from the fog she had created. A person walked out of it, swiftly. She swung the fire extinguisher at the head, immediately, but the hand held it. “Calm down, Mia. It’s me”, Jeremy said and hugged her.
She held onto him tightly. “Where have you been?”, she asked. “Thank you for coming”
“I will never ignore your call, Mia”, he replied. “We should stop hugging and get us out of here”
