Dalia's POV
Monday morning came around and I was reluctant to go to work. I made the mistake of turning on my phone yesterday afternoon and I had missed messages from Jackson.
"Dalia, have you gotten off work". 8:00pm. Such a punctual man.
"You're not in your office, Lia. Did you step out for a moment?"
"You did not stand me up, did you?
"What are you not replying to me?"
And the list continues. I did not bother to reply to any of them because I knew it was still going to continue at work. I did not bother to put effort into my looks because I had been stressed already and I just didn't have any zeal to.
"Wow, if gloomy was a person, it would definitely have your face on it this morning. Why do you look like you did not sleep a wink throughout the night?" Chelsea asked when I exite
