My New Papa

Chapter Four

Yay finally made it to 647 reads, and to me that is amazing because I really didn't think that, that many people would read this story, so I'm really happy about that. Not too long after I posted chapter three I got a few comments on it, and they made me so happy that I cried a little bit. Now I know a lot of people think that is an overreaction but you have to understand that I really didn't think that people would be so into this story, so reading their comments and knowing that they liked the chapter meant a lot to me. So for all of you who read this story and comment on it THANK YOU and this chapter is dedicated to you. Now enough with my ranting let’s get on with the story.

"No, let me go!" I screamed at Erik and Erion as they dragged me to the indoor pool. "No, we wanna see how well you can swim" Erion said with an evil smirk plastered on his face. This all started when they found out that I couldn't swim. I was talking to Margarrett about it when they walked in the room without either of us knowing that they were there. I know I should have been more careful about where I talk but I honestly thought that the devil spawns were gone when I was talking to Margarret about it. They hid until I was left alone before grabbing me and dragging me out of the room and towards the pool. "Why, why are you doing this!?" I screamed at them. "Simple we do it because we can and it's fun to hurt you" Erik said with a dark glint shining in his eyes. Hearing that I struggled even more to get away but no matter what I did there was no escape from them. After a minute or so we arrived at the pool and I was carelessly thrown into it, hitting my head on the side of the pool before I started to sink to the bottom. My vision became blurry whether it was because of the blow to the head or the water, I don't know. I tried to get back above the water but no matter how hard I kicked my legs or moved my arms I never got any closer to the surface. After a few minutes I began to pass out from lack of oxygen, the last thing I remember before everything went dark was a figure coming towards me.

"Thank god you're awake; I was starting to think that you would never wake up!" A voice yelled as soon as I opened my eyes. Looking over to where the voice came from I saw a very good looking man. The man was almost as handsome and sexy and completely drools worthy as Mr. Gallows was. "Who are you and where am I?" I asked the man as I looked around the room. "My name is Maxx and you’re in the guest room of my home" Maxx said as he brought me a cold glass of water and helped me set up in the bed. "Why am I in your house?" I asked Maxx with a bit of confusion lacing my voice. "You're here because I couldn't let you be alone in that house with those monsters who try to call themselves human beings" Maxx told me. "How did you get into my papa's house?" I asked Maxx. "Oh that's easy, since I'm your papa's best friend he gave me the key to his house so that I could come over whenever I want, I even gave him a key to my house so that he can come over whenever he wants" Maxx explained as he pulled out a copied key to Mr. Gallows' house to show me. "How long have I been asleep?" I asked Maxx. "You've been asleep for about a week" Maxx told me just before we heard a door slam from somewhere in the house. "WHERE IS HE?" I heard Mr. Gallows voice yell.

"Well it looks like it's time to tell Lucian about what happened" Maxx told me before yelling that we were in the guest room. It took about thirty seconds before the door flew open and slammed against the wall. Standing in the doorway was a very irritated and pissed off Mr. Gallows. "HOW DARE YOU, YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE MY BEST FRIEND!" Mr. Gallows screamed at Maxx. "What the hell are you talking about" Maxx asked Mr. Gallows in confusion. "I'm talking about you taking Alekander against his will and keeping him hostage here and I had to find out about it from Erik and Erion after you beat them up" Mr. Gallows seethed in anger. "You are not only stupid but blind as well. Erik and Erion were trying to kill Alekander and if I didn't come in when I did Alekander would have been dead. They knew that he couldn't swim so they through him into the deep end of the pull and made sure that he hit his head on the side of it, and watching as he sank to the bottom in unconsciousness. They just stood there watching with smirks on their faces not even bothering to try to help him; they were just going to let him drown. At least I was there to save him and take care of him the entire time that he was asleep, where were you at? No don't answer that because I already know where you were. You were out with that evil gold digging w***e and her evil little brats not giving a single thought about Alekander. I honestly don't understand why you even adopted Alekander when you have absolutely nothing to do with him!" Maxx yelled at Mr. Gallows. "Dianne is not a w***e and her children are not brats, they are two amazing young men, and I adopted Alekander because I wanted a son" Mr. Gallows said in a barely controlled voice. "May have wanted Alekander as your son at first but that has changed. You have nothing to do with him anymore, you're either busy with your work or you're out being busy with your girlfriend and her sons. And let’s not forget about the fact that you're too blind to see how bad Alekander is being treated at home" Maxx said in a much calmer voice.

Mr. Gallows just glared at Maxx before grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the room. "We are going home Alekander and when we get there we are going to sit down and have a nice dinner with Dianne, Erik, and Erion and that’s final" Mr. Gallows growled at me as he continued to drag me through the house. "No papa I don't want to go back, I want to stay here with Maxx" I told Mr. Gallows as I yanked my arm out of his grip. Mr. Gallows just looked at me with such betrayal and hurt that I was tempted to just give into what he wanted. "So you choose him over me? I adopted you, I gave you everything you could possibly want and you're just going to stand there and throw it right back into my face!?" Mr. Gallows exclaimed as he looked at me. "Papa I appreciate all that you have done for me, but I can't stay in that place any longer. And yes while at the beginning you did give me everything that I could possibly want, you stopped giving me what I needed as soon as your girlfriend and her sons moved in. The moment they moved in with you, you stopped having anything to do with me, everything became about Dianne and her children. I really didn't want to tell you this but I am so far beyond caring right now. Dianne is an abusive gold digging slut and her children are evil and abusive creatures just like her. And before you go and defend them why don't you take a look at all of the security footage to see what's been going on, why don't you go and talk to your staff and hear what they have to say about her, and her sons" I told Mr. Gallows as I tried my hardest not to cry because I know that when he finds out that what I told him is true he will be hurt. I know that he needed to hear that and that the truth would have come out sooner or later, but I couldn't help but feel like I was a horrible person for telling him that.

"Lucian you need to open your eyes to the things that are going on around you. You need to see the things that are really happening and not the things that you want to see. Until that happens Alekander will be staying with me" Maxx said as he watched Mr. Gallows walk out of the door. "It's ok Alekander, he needed to hear that, he can't stay in his make believe world forever. He needs to see the kind of people he is really involved with, because if he doesn't then he could get hurt or someone he really cares about could be seriously hurt. In the end he will thank us for helping him really see things" Maxx told me as he led me back up to the guest room to get some more rest.
