I drove through the city, the skyline blurring past me as I made my way to my appointment. My body felt heavy, weakened by the emotional turmoil churning within me. The weight of my actions bore down on me, leaving me feeling drained and exhausted. The sudden impact jolted me from my thoughts. A car had crashed into mine, leaving a deep dent in the side.
