I felt an empty space next to me where Gabriel should have been, my heart pounding in my chest. How could this be? I had just spent hours pouring my soul out to him, feeling his gentle touch and warmth. Yet, there he wasn't - as if he never existed. "Gabriel?" I whispered into the void, but no answer came. My fingers trembled as I clutched the mysterious note, my only connection to reality at that moment. My eyes darted over the words, trying to make sense of them. Mr. Monday hadn't given up on me, even after all I'd done to push him away. A spark of hope ignited within me, mixed with a strange urgency. "Mr. Monday..."
