Nicholas glanced across the room checking once again the clock hanging from the wall. Ever since his misunderstanding, she has never been this late, he could not stop the apprehension even if he wants to. Suddenly, the headlight of her car reflected through the windows, he listened for the halt of her car after some minutes it stopped and a long silence followed before the doorbell rang.
