Once we got back to my office, I'm staring away, looking at her like I didn't know what to say. Which I didn't know what to say. And I think she knew that too, because when she sat down, she pulled her legs up to her chest and stared right back at me.
I counted 30 Mississippi's before I turned my head and looked at my computer and looked at the video feed to make sure no one was around, at least following her. I didn't see anyone around not even my own people. I mean it was nighttime, so everyone was asleep. But I still should have some guards out and about.
