Ye Ai suddenly received information in her brain and can't help furrowing her forehead. It was a very familiar sensation and yet quite unfamiliarly uncomfortable, too. It has been long since she last felt it.
Alcada Kingdom was a very prosperous medieval country. The monarch was benevolent to his people and even with his wonderful family. And yet they're only gifted with a single son and heir, Rhomeo Caspian. One may say he's pampered and yet cannot deny that he still grew to an ideal man; a highly skilled sword-fighter, genius scholar and the embodiment of gentlemanliness. He was engaged to the Grand Duke's only child and daughter, Althea Vaine. Althea has similar circumstances with Rhomeo but she grew up too spoiled and very willful. She paraded her engagement with the prince in every possible chance which Rhomeo detested.
And then, the fairytale started. Prince Rhomeo fell for another woman—the commoner girl, Aileen. Of course, the Prince tried to reconsider his feelings because of his responsibilities as Crown Prince but when he can no longer stop his feelings he finally accepted that he's really in love with her. He immediately confessed to his parents and since a loving family would never let their child bear unhappiness so they talked their way out of the engagement. Prince Rhomeo was left open to chase his beloved. Coincidentally, the said commoner girl protagonist will be Ye Ai's new body.
The Grand Duke received huge remunerations on this cancellation of engagement and was quite happy but Althea wasn't. She was vindictive against the third party and personally attacked Aileen to injure but was impeded by Prince Rhomeo. With great grievances, she went back home and directly fell unconscious. When she woke up, another soul has already transmigrated to her body!
Ye Ai recognized this pattern and knew why the system chose this first world. There has been a shift in the divine law. The divine law was the power of the world that controlled everyone and everything in its jurisdiction. Every world has its own world law and thus own divine law.
