The worst day of my life. (or the best one?)

468 Words
The doorbell rang. Again. I didn´t really feel like getting out of my warm bed. I just wanted all of this to just be a bad dream. I collected all of the remaining energy in my body and got up. Ah, why is this floor so cold. We really should get underfloor heating... I tried to talk to myself in my head for a second but that yelling behind the door pulled me back to reality. ,,Can u please get out of your bed and open this stupid door?" my mom yelled. I opened the door and sarcastically smiled at her: ,,Good morning, how did you sleep my sweetest mother?". ,,It´s 10:30, not the morning anymore sweetheart. I got back from the shop, bought you some fresh rolls and bought more boxes for your stuff, and you managed to get up from your bed. Impressive." I wanted to give her another sarcastic smile or say some stingy comment on that, but I changed my mind when I saw all the boxes on the ground. I took a deep breath, picked ´em up and went back to my room. This life sucks. When I finally moved on from all the shitty stuff and started to make friends, we have to move away. 1000 kilometers away. From everything. To Atlanta. The best place to do business. Okay, I should get to work and stop overthinking again. I packed up all of my stuff to cardboard boxes. 4 hours later, when i was finally done with packing, movers came over. They took all the boxes to their car and drove away. This was the moment i had to say goodbye to a place i lived in since i was born for the last time. I stood on a doorstep looking around the house. I´m gonna miss this place so much. I closed the door and took a deep breath. I´m gonna start a new great life. Just don´t overthink. I decided not to say hi to my friends because i think i couldn´t take it. Not even my best friend. I just wanted to go away and not think about it at all so it won´t hurt. At least I thought it will not. We got in a car and I put in my headphones. After 18 hours, we finally got there. Ah I will miss Boston so much, but this place... it´s really pretty. We parked our car infront of a giant light-brown house. Woah. I got out of a car and looked around. The house was really big, with a pretty garden and a pool. I gotta give this new life a chance. I mean, at least the house is great.
