Chapter 13

Bella...

It’s been 5 days since the accident in Phoenix. Luckily there had been no school the whole time, but it starts back up in two days. Today Alice is coming over to tell us all what happened so we could get the full story about it all. I have a few questions, like why the hell she thought it was a good idea to go after a crazy vampire instead of telling us, so we could come up with a plan.

Edward was pissed, because of the whole vampire life she had been dragged into, but mostly because he couldn’t stop drinking from her in Phoenix. I knew nothing bad would of happened because you can’t hurt your mate human or vampire, I tried to explain to him he drank from her because she’s his singer, but also his mate so he would of been able to stop before he killed her.

I still don’t get how he can be close to her and kiss her, I’ve already met my singer and he didn’t last a second, so let alone kiss him. YUCK! I was brought out of my thoughts when I eared Edward’s Volvo coming up the driveway.

We all gathered into the living room to wait for Alice and Edward. They both walked in, well Alice leaning against Edward with her cast on. I need to figure away to make her look nice for the dance, next week. Edward and Alice sat down on the sete next to me and Jazz, while the others sat on the love seats.

“Hello Alice. I’m guessing Edward’s told you why we asked you to come over?” Carlisle asked her, always the polite one. “Something about wanting to know what happened in Phoenix?” She looked at me and Jasper. “I’m so sorry guys, I had to” she told us while looking at us both in the eyes. “I know I read your little letter” I told her, she cringed.

“Ok, so what happened Alice?” Carlisle asked her. “Well when we arrived at the hotel Bella had a vision of a room with mirrors everywhere and I recognised it as my old ballet studio, that was around the corner from my mum’s house. I told them where the exit goes, I explained to them how I knew, that’s when Edward called to tell us that you was all flying to meet us. Later that day, Jasper and Bella went to pay for the room, while I was packing. That’s when I got the phone call” Alice took a deep breath obviously out of breath telling us what happened. “It was James, to cut the phone call short, he told me that he had my mum and that he would let her live if I basically sacrificed myself for her. I had to she’s my mum, anyway he asked if I could get away from you and I told him I think I could. He told me to meet him at the ballet studio alone. When Bella came back I asked her how her visions work and she told me you had to make a decision, so I stored that information away for when I had to run. I wrote a letter and took it to the airport to meet you. About 15 minutes before you was due to arrive I gave Bella the letter telling her it was for my mum” Edward interrupted her “I’m guessing the letter wasn’t for your mum?” Alice shook her head “No, it was for you to explain everything. “

“Anyway I asked I could get something to eat, Bella was going to come with me, but I didn’t want her to catch on to my plan, so I asked if Jasper could come with me to keep me calm. We walked past a few courts when we was outside the toilet I was after. I knew there was another door to get out of the airport. I told Jasper I was going to the toilet, he waited outside for me, while I made and exit” I interrupted her. “I had a vision of Alice and James, I ran towards Jasper and explained what happened we waited for you and we went to the ballet studio” We all looked towards Alice for her to finish her side of the story. “Jasper calm her” I told him just loud enough for him to ear.

“I got into a taxi and gave him the address of the ballet studio. He dropped me off and I walked in. Anyway to cut a story short. I heard my mum’s voice shouting me, so I ran towards her. It turned out he went to my mum’s house and got one of our home videos. He videoed the whole thing. He told me a few things before he flung me into a mirror. Did you get the video recorder?” Alice asked us. “Yes why?” Jasper asked her. “I think you and Bella should watch it, he knew you Bella” That information shocked me, I looked at Jasper. “I’ve never seen him before” I told them. “He knew you in your human life. Apparently you was the one and only who got away from him. I don’t wanna tell you anymore you should watch the video. Anyway after flinging me into the mirror he stalked me while I was laid on the floor with my head bleeding, he stomped on my leg telling me to scream and so Edward will go after him. I didn’t scream knowing that’s what he wanted, that’s when Edward came and flung him off me but not before he bit me” she told us.

After she told us what happened I wanted to know one thing.” Why didn’t you tell us what happened so we could come up with a plan instead of you going against a crazy vampire, and your human?” she looked at us all. “I didn’t want you guys to get hurt because of me. You all act like you don’t like me, well just Emmett and Rosalie now after Jasper explained his reasoning’s about the whole situation, and Bella’s fun, she’s like a sister to me” She was stupid worrying about us, I didn’t even get to answer her. “What I told you Alice was how we all feel, it’s not your fault your boyfriend doesn’t see sense” I wanted to know what he told her but Edward beat me to it. “What did you tell her?” Jasper looked him in the eyes and told him. “I told her the reason we may act like we don’t like her is because of you, and how you act with the whole situation” I knew what he meant, he meant about him changing her. We spent the rest of the day talking to Alice and getting to know her properly, she’s not into fashion, but I will have to change that, shopping trips here we come.
