Chapter 4

It has been 6 months since we decided to head to the Cullen’s, my eyes are now gold just like my Bella’s.

We finally arrived at their house, Bella knocked on the door, and a man with blonde hair and gold eyes answered the door. As soon as he saw my scars on my face, I could feel the fear coming off him.

“Come in” He told us while moving to the side for us to walk in, I kept Bella behind me a bit, even though she can look after herself it is a protective instinct for all male vampires, as soon as I saw another 4 Vampires, I tensed even though I knew they would be here after Bella’s vision, It still put me on the edge for me to defend myself and my Bella.

“My name is Carlisle, this is my mate Esme, Emmett and his mate Rosalie and Edward” Carlisle introduced them while pointing them out.

“It’s nice to meet you I’m Jasper Whitlock and my mate Bella Swan”

“Take a seat”

Bella dragged me bouncing about like her usual self, hyper all the time, one of the things I love about her. She pushed me into a seat and sat on my lap, like usual.

“Well, lets ear about you both” Bella tensed, I sent all the calm and encouragement and could to her.

“Well my name is Bella Swan, I don’t know anything of my human life, I just remember my name. I have the gift of precognition, when I first woke, I had a vision of Jasper and me meeting in Philadelphia, I waited 2 years for him, but I didn’t want to give up on him, I couldn’t because I knew we was mates, I met him a year ago, and we’ve been travelling ever since, and we came here”

While Bella was telling them about herself, the blonde one Rosalie, was stairing daggers toward Bella, I knew Bella could feel Rosalie staring at her, as I’ve trained her everything I know, but I could also feel the envy rolling off her in waves, most likely because her beauty was beaten by Bella a lot.

“Wow, so you can see the future, what about you Jasper do you have a gift?” Carlisle asked me.

“I am an empath, I can feel and control your emotions”

“I can see why you change diets, Edward can read minds”

A mind reader, would of come in handy for Maria’s army, Peter defiantly wouldn’t like that, having no secrets.

“I don’t do it on purpose” Edward hissed at me.

I tightened my grip on Bella while she sent me calm emotions.

“I never said you did, I was just thinking of my friend”

He just glared at me, Bella always knew how to change the topic.

“Well anyway, that’s all you need to know about me, what about you?”

So Carlisle told us how his farther use to hunt Vampires, but Carlisle was hunting them one night when he was attacked one night by a vampire, and he crawled away into a dumpster and waited for the three days, when he woke he fed off animals, he also told us how he went on his own for a while, and training to become a doctor.

Esme told us how she was abused by her husband in her human life and fell pregnant, then after giving birth her baby died so she tried to commit suicide when Carlisle changed her.

Edward told us how his mother, farther and himself came down with Spanish Influenza and killed his farther first then his mother, and how his mother asked Carlisle to help him no matter what he had to do, like she knew what he was, so Carlisle changed him and was his first companion, then when he went on his own and hunted the scum, and then a few years later he came back to Carlisle where he waited for him with open arms.

Rosalie told us how she was to be married to Royce King when she was walking home one night from her friend’s house Vera, when she saw Royce with his friend’s when they was drunk, and they all raped her and left her to die, when Carlisle smelt the blood and changed her, she told us how she wanted to grow old with her husband and have children and watch her grandchildren grow, but she is thankful to Carlisle for giving her this life.

Emmett told us how he was hunting one night, and a bear attacked him, and if it wasn’t for Rosalie he would of been dead.

I didn’t know what to say, I wish my life had been that easy, but It wasn’t. I know they want me to tell them my story, but I don’t know if I’m ready.

“You can do it Jasper” She knows not to call me Jazz in front of others, as it’s only her who can call me that.

“I guess I should tell you my story, It isn’t pleasant at all, I was evil then, but when I met my Bella everything changed, she was the one thing that was missing from my life” I kissed her forehead, and took a big un-needed breath of air.

“I was born in 1843 in Houston, Texas. In 1861, when I was 17, I joined the confederate army by lying about my age telling them I was 21, I was very well liked by others, and rose through the ranks quickly, by 1863 I became the youngest Major in history, that’s without them knowing my actual age. Many would take a liking to me, they called it natural charisma. One night I was assigned to evacuate Galveston, when I came across three women, all rather young, they looked like girls not women at the time, been the southern gentleman my mama raised me to be, I immediately stopped to assist them, they was talking to each other about me been young and strong, well I guess you know what happened next... three days later I woke up in a compound and was put into the vampire wars, when my first year was up, Maria didn’t want to dispose of me because of my battle strategies and fighting abilities aswel as my gift, I became her second in command, and never lost a fight to this day, I’m known all over the world as-“

“Major Jasper Whitlock also known as ‘the god of war’” Emmett interrupted, with all the others just sat there with their jaws hanging just stairing, while me and Bella nodded our heads.
