Storm The moment we stepped out of the car, my stomach twisted into a knot. This was it. There was no turning back now. I followed Doyle toward the building where the ceremony would take place, with Julie, Leah, and Lilly walking close behind us. The moment we stepped inside, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of people. The main room was enormous. A raised stage occupied the front of the room, while long rows of tables lined the back walls. Platters of food, bowls of salads and various other dishes covered almost every available surface. The air was filled with the sounds of conversation and laughter as pack members mingled, ate and helped themselves to refreshments.
