I walked into the Alpha house after spending the entire morning dealing with Alpha business up at the pack house. The moment I entered the media room, I sat down beside Lena, dragging her onto my lap and dismissing Liam from his protection duties. Liam got up from the lounge and gave the girls and Lena a smile and a wave before he made his way out of the house. As soon as Liam left, the girls began clearing up the mess they had made, and taking everything out to the kitchen.
“What did you do while I was gone?” I asked Lena, before pressing a light kiss onto her cheek.
“Liam and the girls and I watched movies and ate junk food,” she told me, giving me a smile.
“That’s good,” I said, nodding in approval. I was glad that she had been having fun in my absence.
