I turned back towards the battered members of the Hunter’s Moon pack and gestured towards the man standing behind me.
“Members of Hunter’s Moon, allow me to introduce you to the rightful Alpha of this pack.”
I paused, letting the tension build.
“Logan Danger.”
The silence lasted approximately three seconds.
Then Josh stepped forward.
“Like hell!”
His face twisted with anger.
“No f*****g way! You two traitorous bastards ran away in the middle of the night like a pair of cowards! Where were you when this pack was attacked? Hiding, just like the cowards you are! Neither of you deserves to be Alpha!”

Then I smiled.
“And let me guess, Josh. You think you deserve to be Alpha?”
