Storm
The flight from Houston to Dublin took just under ten hours. On the flight, I had done what Logan had told me to do, and set up the phone with my favourite apps and downloaded tonnes of music onto Spotify. We were halfway over the Atlantic Ocean when Logan and I, along with our pilots and air stewardess had renounced our ties to the Hunter’s Moon Pack, which meant we no longer had any links to that pack. We were now rogues!
During the flight, Logan had sent me a text message that contained the details for my new email account and various other accounts he had set up for me in my new identity. He also gave me my newly forged documents that his friend had made for me. I took a quick look at my new identity, noting the name, Lena Wolf, smiling at the irony of the name, as I placed everything into my backpack for safe keeping.
By the time we had landed in Ireland, it was five o’clock in the afternoon. Seeing as how all of us were exhausted from the long flight, we decided we would eat our dinner and sleep on the plane for the night, as the trip had wiped us out. Another reason we stayed on the plane for the night was so we could maintain a low profile. This was because the most likely place for us to have the misfortune of running into other werewolves was at an airport.
Alicia, our air stewardess made us a nice dinner, and after we had eaten, we sat and watched a movie before falling asleep.
The next morning, Logan awoke me to the sound of Alicia making us a nice English breakfast. After we had eaten our breakfast, I went and had a shower and freshened up before changing into an outfit that was similar to the one that I had worn the day before. Being a university student, I was taking advantage of being able to dress for comfort!
I put the clothes I had just taken off into a plastic shopping bag, before placing the shopping bag into my suitcase, so I could launder the items once I had gotten to the university. After I had finished getting freshened up, all my luggage was taken from the plane and loaded up into Logan’s hire car, which was a black Range Rover. Once I had said my goodbyes to our flight crew, Logan and I made the two-and-a-half-hour trip to the university campus in Galway.
When we arrived at the university campus, I couldn’t help but admire the structure of the buildings and the beautiful grounds of the campus. It was marvellous! I was so excited to finally be here!
Logan and I made our way into the administrations building and I spoke with the ladies in the office before making our way out to the car and getting my suitcases and my bedding out of the trunk and making our way up to my assigned dorm room.
When we arrived at the door of my dorm room, I knocked on the door just out of courtesy. I honestly didn't want to make a poor impression with my roommate by walking in on something gross, say like my roommate shagging a guy on the kitchen table for example. When the room’s door opened, a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes answered it, her scent hitting me immediately, alerting me to the fact that she was a werewolf.
I felt a cold shiver run along my spine as I realized I was going to be living on another pack’s territory. In my excitement at the very thought of finally getting away from my pack and my brother, and beginning a new life for myself, I had never even thought of this being a possibility. Being here with this girl was dangerous. I was in just as much danger, maybe more, living here with this girl, as I had been living within my old pack.
