We were in the car headed back towards the Celtic Moon Pack. This time I was driving, and going way to fast, as we headed towards Alpha Doyle’s home. I was worrying about getting us lost, having only made trips along this road twice. Once on the way out to the Celtic Moon Pack and then on the trip back to the university campus. I was trying to focus on where I was going when Lilly suddenly asked from the back seat, “Lena, what is going on? Why are we heading back home?”
“I will tell you when we get to your dad’s house,” I replied.
“Lena, you are really scaring me,” Lilly said, as she looked at me, meeting my gaze in the rear-view mirror from where she sat in the back seat.
