Storm Since Dalton’s birth, my entire world had changed. Every sound he made had my attention. Every little movement had me checking on him. I barely let him out of my sight, and more than once, I had woken in the middle of the night just to make sure he was still breathing. It was strange. Terrifying, actually. There was now this tiny, perfect little life completely dependent on me. Doyle kept trying to convince me that I needed to find a balance.
