Storm “We need to talk, love.” The quietness in Alpha Doyle’s voice immediately caught my attention. I looked at him, waiting. “Okay.” He took a slow breath before continuing. “I can’t let you go back to university and live on campus the way you have been.” My stomach dropped. “What? Why?” “Because you’re there without protection, and I’m not there to protect you.” His expression softened as he looked at me. “It doesn’t sit right with me, Lena. I need you here with me. If I can’t see for myself that you’re safe, my wolf is going to drive me insane. I won’t be able to focus on running my pack while I’m constantly fighting the urge to go looking for you.” He paused, his expression becoming more serious. “And if something happened to you because I wasn’t there…” His jaw tightened.
