Lucas's pov

Lucas was stood with other member's of his pack as they watched Jax and Eliza who was sparring at the center of the training grounds.

Jax and Eliza continued to trade blows back and forth but despite Jax being bigger and stronger than Eliza she was fighting Jax on equal footing.

Jax threw a punch at Eliza which she redirected with practiced precision "you're going to have to do better than that Jaxie" Eliza said with a smile on her face as she taunted Jax.

Jax matched her smile with one of his own "don't regret what you just said" Jax said before he dashed at Eliza when he got close enough he threw punch at her face which she dodged once again but Eliza was caught of guard when she felt the wind taken from her.

Lucas saw the whole thing from within the crowd Jax's first punch was a feint and while Eliza was occupied with Jax's feint he kneed her in her stomach.

Eliza kneeled on the floor as she struggled to catch her breath "ass *hah* hole *hah*" Eliza said to Jax as she looked up at him.

Jax looked at Eliza "here" Jax said as he held out his hand for Eliza to take Eliza clasped Jax's hand and as he pulled her up she swept his legs from underneath him making fall on his back much to the amusement of everyone.

Everyone burst out laughing when they saw Jax hit the floor Lucas included "what the hell Liz what did you do that for?" Jax shouted through the laughter as he looked up at Eliza from were he lay on the floor.

Eliza stood smiling over Jax triumphantly "I never yielded Jaxie you should know by now that the only way to beat me is to knock me out" Eliza said as looked at Jax's face.

Jax stared at Eliza and his annoyed look changed to a smile which caused Eliza to become confused but before she could ask what he was smiling at he grabbed her leg's causing her to fall on her back and quickly mounted her while pinning her hands above her head.

The laughter silenced and everyone stared at Eliza as she stared up at Jax momentarily dumbstruck until she heard what he said "Do you yield now Liz or do we need to continue" Jax's husky voice said as he whispered in her ear.

A few of the pack members whistled when they saw the position the pair was in "Get off me you big sweaty i***t" Eliza screamed as she thrashed about in Jax's grip trying to escape but to no avail.

Lucas looked at Jax and Eliza and when he saw Eliza's face he decided that he needed to quickly separate them 'I better stop them before Jax regrets taunting her' Lucas thought to himself as he started to move towards the struggling duo.

Just as Lucas was about to split Jax and Eliza up a familar voice could be heard shouting "Move out of the way" Lucas turned to look at the familiar sounding voice to see his head tracker Jonah pushing his way through the crowd with frantic look on his face heading straight for him.

Lucas quickly decided to meet him half way "What's the matter Jonah what has you so worked up?" Lucas asked wondering what had Jonah so rattled.

Jonah looked Lucas in the eye "Alpha we've caught the scent of some rogue's on our land's along with the scent of some pup's" Jonah said hurriedly causing the some of the pack member's to growl.

Lucas looked around at his pa k member's before he began to issue order's "Jax, Liza round up as many warriors as you can and as quickly as possible Jonah you'll lead me to where you found the trail" Lucas said before he shifted into his pitch black wolf as Jonah did the same.

1 hour later

Lucas, Jax, Eliza, Jonah and some pack warrior's and tracker's were running through the woods following the scent trail left by the rogue's.

As they ran through the forest the scent that the rogue's left behind became stronger and stronger urging them to run faster.

Lucas stopped running at looked in the direction of a well known clearing on pack land's when he picked up an all too familiar metallic smell 'blood' Jax said through the pack link.

Lucas nodded his head 'We need to pick up the pace now' Lucas said through the pack link before once he raced off following the scent of blood.

'Let's just hope we're not too late' Lucas thought to himself as he and his pack member's ran towards the clearing.

Ryan's, Lucas's and Kai's pov

As Lucas and the other's arrived at the clearing they saw it littered with the bodies of various rogue's that had been brutally torn apart and in the center of them was a blood soaked Ryan.

The looks Ryan received from Lucas's pack were ones of horror although they were no stranger's to bloody battles they had never seen something so brutal in there lives.

Lucas, Jax, Eliza, Jonah and the pack warrior's carefully approached the blood soaked Ryan as he stood in the center of the numerous dismembered bodies of rogues that littered the clearing.

Amongst the metallic bloody smell Lucas picked up two alluring scents one a mixture of chocolate and lavender while the other a mixture of earth and sandlewood.

As they did so Lucas noticed Kai who was standing protectively in front of a dome that was made out of earth with an entrance big enough for children to fit through.

From the hole in the dome the smell of pup's drifted outwards "get away from those pups you filthy Rogue" Lucas's Beta Jax who had shifted into his human form growled at Kai as the rest of the wolves slowly but carefully drew closer to Ryan.

Kai stepped away from the pups as the wolves approached the blood covered Ryan as he took a deep breath as he turned around casting his gaze over the surrounding wolves.

Lucas shifted back to his human form and caught a pair of shorts that Jonah who had also shifted back tossed to him "Who are you and what are you doing on Silvermoon pack territory" Lucas said as he looked at Ryan and Kai.

Kai quickly answered Lucas "My names Kai Fairchild and I came here when I heard the sound of these pup's crying for help I didn't mean to tresspass but when I was about to be attacked this handsome stranger appeared out of nowhere and ended up saving us all" Kai said as he stepped closer to Ryan unconsciously not releasing he had just called Ryan handsome.

Ryan smiled when he heard what Kai said but unlike what Lucas thought he wasn't jealous but he actually agreed with Kai's statement.

Lucas looked towards Ryan and noticed he had purple eye's and knew he was dealing with a Alpha "Lies there lying he's definitely the Alpha of this rogue pack and that has to be his Omega mate he probably killed them to cover his own tracks" Jax said blinded by rage.

Ryan purple eye's glowed and became blood red with a golden circle around the edge before he dashed towards Jax at an astounding speed and held him by the throat as his feet dangled above the floor "I'd be careful of who you speak to in that tone pup unless you want to end up like these filthy rogue's" Ryan said with venom in his voice as he looked coldly at Jax who struggled in his grip.

Seeing there Beta in trouble the Silvermoon wolves started to move towards Ryan and Kai.

Lucas held up his hand keeping his wolves back "Stay were you are if he wanted to kill us we all would've been killed the moment we stepped foot in the clearing" Lucas said with his Alpha authority causing his wolves to back down before he faced Ryan "I'm sorry for what my Beta said but it'd be better if you release him" Lucas said not wanting to show weakness in front of his pack and another Alpha.

Ryan looked around at the surrounding wolves and smirked "as you wish" Ryan said before tossing Jax aside sending him careening into a tree.

Eliza quickly ran up to were Ryan tossed Jax but when she arrived he was already on his feet and about to charge at Ryan "Stop picking a fight you can't possibly win you i***t and check on the pup's" Lucas shouted immediately stopping Jax from what he was about to do.

Once Jax had arrived towards the pup's Lucas stepped closer to where Ryan and Kai stood as he felt a strange pull telling him to get closer whenever he looked at them.

Once Lucas was within arms length of Ryan and Kai the two alluring scents he picked up when he first arrived in the clearing became stronger and when he locked eye's with Ryan and Kai the three uttered one word that shocked the other's.

"Mate" Ryan, Kai and Lucas said in unison as they stared at one another with heated gazes.
