Silence. That's all it was during the car ride. I had never seen Mr. Ross this quiet and distant. He hadn't said a word to me ever since we left the event. I didn't know what was going but I was worried about him. It seemed to have to do with something that concerns Ashley and I wondered what she might have done to him to have called her name in that very broken voice.
