Marcus
Marcus watched as El slipped out the door. His lion was practically roaring inside at him, trying to force him to follow her, but Marcus locked his hands on the seat in front of him and stayed strong. As badly as he wanted to lose himself in his mate’s body for the night, the risk was too great. None of them were convinced that she wouldn’t get pregnant.
She wasn’t showing any typical signs of being in heat, but since they were aware of the prophecy, Marcus didn’t trust anything.
“She’ll need someone to sleep with her,” Shawn pointed out.
