Water dripped down the length of my body as I slowly rose from the tub, breathe held and heart thumping.
What if Keagan returned into the bathroom and saw the odd looking book from the cavity in the wall?
Thankfully, my eyes caught another towel in the cabinet in the faucet and i quickly dried off before tying the towel around me. Then I took the towel i wrapped around the book and pushed it behind me whilst exiting the bathroom.
With my heart in my mouth, I carefully padded down the hall, hoping to the goddess I won’t run into anyone.
Suddenly a loud banging noise echoed through the hallway and i let out a shriek, jumping high in the air
