Where was the book? I blinked in confusion as I scanned the space where the book should have been. How could it be gone when I had placed it there when I left?
My eyes darted around the bedroom to see if anything was out of place but everything was exactly as how I had left it.
A cold sweat prickled my skin. Had someone been here? But that was impossible. Keagan was already at the patio before i left my room and besides, no one else should know about that book!
