JESSICA'S POV ~
An hour and two minutes passed by when I heard footsteps and excited voices coming from the kids.
I stood by the window where I had been staring at the starless sky, and made my way to the banister where I peeked down to see Keagan carrying the kids in both arms while Emma trailed behind them as they headed toward the large front door.
“Daddy, is Aunt Sylvia coming along? She’s popular and lots of people would like to take pictures with her." I heard Mina squeal, wiggling in Keagan's arms as though to make him set her down on her feet. "It would make us a celebrity too!”
My eyes twinkled and just then Emma stopped dead in her tracks. A cold smile twisted my lips and I wished I could fully see her expression, but her back was turned to me.
