My heart ached with bitter sweet memories as I stepped out of the vehicle.
Like I was in a daze, I could see my old self, in Jessica's real form...gasping and throwing her arms around Keagan's neck, as the lights from the villa cast an ethereal glow around us.
He lifted me--her-- into his arms, clearing my feet off the ground. "I knew you'd love this."
"Oh Keagan." I'd whispered tearfully, burying my face into his neck as tears prickled at my eyelids.
I felt a mixture of guilt and happiness because the man i just married didn't know I'd bamboozled him up the altar. Happiness because my dreams were finally attainable.
Even if I was just a weak omega, I now had the mark of an Alpha. I had his love...or so I thought.
