"I've always dreamed of my son getting married in Paris," Sofia mused as she munched on the cookies I had baked. "Once you've chosen a date, I'd love to make that happen for you two."
We were watching my favorite modeling show, and I had just expressed my long-term dream of becoming an actress. I was overjoyed when Sofia, Keagan's mother, promised to support me in pursuing my dream career.
However, hearing her talk about my marriage to Keagan instantly dampened my mood. The truth was, that Keagan had planned for me to be the mother of his children, but he had never mentioned making me his Luna. It frustrated me to no end.
I gave her a stiff nod, my appetite for the cookies and interest in the show dissipating.
