Keagan’s P.O.V Twelve Minutes. It had been exactly twelve minutes since Jessica stood up to go to the bathroom. At first, I attributed the delay to her nerves, maybe a sudden reluctance on her part to fufill my request, which would be fine if that were the case, anyway. But as the minutes ticked by, a slow burn of unease settled in my gut.
