With every minute passing, I was getting more uncomfortable. The heat was burning my skin and I felt like I was on fire.
“You have to relax,” Jaxon said, leaning in close to my neck, something that didn’t go unnoticed by Derek.
“I can’t breathe,” I said, feeling a strange knot in my stomach and chest.
"You smell different. What's wrong with you?" Jaxon asked, but I could barely hear his voice now.
"Oh no!" He suddenly said, looking shocked. I didn't know the impact of what he said next would be so big!
"What?" I opened the mind link between us.
"I think you are going into heat!" He said and I choked.
