LEXYS POV

After me leaving school my parents didnt ask question just not to let it happen again, that was a week ago now and today it when Blake comes home im excited ive missed him all summer even when he missed my birthday which was the first one in our whole lives.

It felt weird for me. We are never apart but he wanted to go to camp this summer with his best friend Noah from the North Woods pack. So his parents let him.

I woke to my alarm going off "Lexy mom said get up" i sat up to see Lj jumping on my bed

I growled at him "i know but do you really need to jump on my bed"

he smirked and ran away i rolled my eyes and got up an got dressed. "LEXY get down here" i heard my dad yell

i sighed this is gonna be a long day eh Jayda

youll love this day tho

i closed the link with my wolf and went down stairs, "Morning" i said sitting down at the table

"Morning baby" mom said as she put a place of food in front of me.

i started to eat "So lexy we are gonna start your training" my dad said

i almost choked on my bacon "W-what"

"Lexy your the next to take my title until you find a mate, but we still need to train you so you and your wolf are strong" he said

i groaned "Why cant the boys so it"

"You can decide wither or not your gonna be the next alpha on your 18th birthday but till then you still need to train" mom added

i growled "Fine"

SMACK

"Ouch" i groaned

"Well dont act like such a dog" i turned to see my aunt Gia

"Sorry" i said rubbing the back of my head

"Ok kids outside the bus will be here soon" my mom said pushing all the lunches into our bags

i sighed and pulled my book bag over my shoulders "Bye" i yelled and ran to the bus

AT SCHOOL

I walked to where my friends were. "Hey jordan, hey Nora"

"Hey lexy whats up" jordan asked

"I got hit with the alpha talk" i said

"s**t eh my mom hit me with that talk two days about" Nora said

"Well my parents havent yet" Jordan added

I rolled my eyes "Your the next beta of your pack you dont get a choice your an only child"

"SO are you guys going to Blakes party tonight" Nora asked

"Of course hes in my pack not to add we grew up together remember" i said

Jordan rolled his eyes "we all know this even tho hes your cousin you two drool over eachother like your mates"

I blushed a bit i know its weird to like your cousin but me and blake have a connection its weird.

"Come on we have class" i said

AT LUNCH

I groaned flopping down on the chair at my lunch table i dropped my book bag "I hate ms Freya" i growled

"Tell me about it" Nora said

"Why this time" Jordan asked

"She hate me" I said

"Does she hate everyone" Nora said

i rolled my eyes and pulled my lunch out, i started to eat which Nora and Jordan were talking i smelled the most smell ever, fresh rain and the smell of the sea.

"Do you guys smell that" i asked

"No" they said looking at me like i have two heads

i looked around but the smell wasnt coming from in the cafe. i got up and followed the smell i was to focused on the smell that i ran to the football field i looked around but i still couldnt find the person.

I went to turn to go back to the school when i hit into someone and almost fell i closed my eyes but i didnt feel pain i felt sparks and Jayda was yelling MATE over and over

I opened my eyes to Blake, i was in shock but i knew not to question the moon goddess.

I just stared at him "Gonna stop staring Love" he said

i snapped out of my daze and stood up i didnt know how to act.

"So we are mates huh" i said

"Looks like we are" he smiled

i looked down "Are you going to reject me cuz we are cousins" i whispered

I looked back up at him i seen the pain of my words in his eyes "Lexy you know i would never reject my mate wither she was my cousin or was an omega id love her anyways" he said touching my cheek.

I was overwhelmed i thought when i got my mate, id be happy dont get me wrong id be happy with Blake but hes my cousin. So i just ran, and didnt look back

BLAKES POV

She just ran like that not even saying a word i said i wouldnt reject her doesnt that mean something.

I turned an walked back to my friends.

"Hey man" i sat next to Lorenzo

"Hi" i said

"What happened" Noah asked

"Well i found my mate" i whispered

"Oh man thats great who is it, oh please tell me its not Esmee or her minions" Lorenzo said

"Oh god no"

"Then who" noah asked

"Um it mighta sorta be my cousin" i said

"Whatt" they said

"Yea"

"You mean Lexy" Noah said

"Yes"

"What happened then" Lorenzo asked

then i explained

"Well s**t man, id just leave her be shell be fine" Noah said

"I hope"

"Anyways how about your party to night its gonna be amazing" Noah chuckled

"Its more so just a family thing with a few people from school" i said

"Well come on the whole high school is going pretty much" Lorenzo said

"I know but still, Lexys gonna be there i dont know what to do we cant tell our parents its weird" i said

"Well dont question the mood goddess" Noah said

"Well of course not but im just curious why, i am if she wasnt my cousin i so would but we are family this makes things harder"

"true" noah agreed

I was in for it, i dont know what im gonna do i know not to question the moon goddess i mean she blesses us with mate and the world goes on but i mean why this.
