Second, why didn’t they just ask?
Third, what did they think my reaction would be?
I was exhausted from the day. I just wanted to go home, have dinner, and fall asleep in front of the television. I didn’t even want to think about s*x.
It was unusual that Will was home before me, but his schedule had variation in it and I had probably forgotten that he told me he wouldn’t be working late. Or whatever.
Or maybe I was home early. I was. I left work early because it sucked.
It doesn’t matter.
