Mathilda’s POV “Thanks for inviting me to your bungalow — and sorry if all I can offer is orange juice and pasta.” Frank smiled sweetly as he took another bite. Honestly, this was the nicest breakfast I’d ever had with a man. Just imagine if this were happening with Fredric — I’d probably faint for days. “This is more than enough,” Frank said warmly. “You didn’t need to spend a thing. You’re helping me without expecting anything in return, and we’re just sitting here, enjoying this incredible view. That’s more than I could’ve hoped for.” Still, meeting him felt like discovering a rare kind of peace — and maybe even… friendship. “Anyway,” he continued, “we’ve only been talking about me. If you don’t mind me asking — did you come here alone?” I took a sip of my drink before answering.
