I sat up the moment I woke up, stretching my arms above my head, and let out a long yawn. I covered my eyes with my hand as the bright sunlight blinded my eyes, peeking its rays through the curtain that was slightly drawn aside.
I stood up and walked towards the window to smell the fresh air when suddenly, I heard the sound of someone whimpering from the outside of the house.
