  STELLA’s POV   Later at five in the afternoon, my palms were sweating and my heart was beating fast. I wasn’t particularly sure why, but I had a suspicion it was because I was nervous about seeing Tyler again after what happened yesterday.   I texted Tyler, telling him that I was near the exit gate waiting for him. I stood in the halls, a few feet away from the exit door, glancing at it from the corner of my eye every so often.   I found a bench nearby, giving me a decent view of the gate so I could watch Tyler. I pulled out my phone and checked the clock, seeing it was only 5:05, with his football practice just ending 5 minutes ago. I took a deep breath and started to scroll my phone randomly.
