Chapter 2 Banished

883 Words
"They are scum, all of them!" Noah shouts. Walker is there to calm down Noah. Morgan looks at me as he walks them back to the lodge. "What the hell were you thinking?" Logan asks, "Let him go." I said. Logan frowns, releasing Aidan from his grip. "We Malakai agreed to not enter their territory or cross paths with them unless we felt threatened by an outside force. So what you did is unacceptable. You have left us, Nathan! You have left the pack to travel on your own with Raul!" Logan stands in front of me infuriated. "So where have you been all this time?" Dale says, chuckling behind Logan. We both continue to glare at each other. "The Raul are waiting at the Lodge and we will settle this after we are done with it. Raul and Sabrina are waiting for the two of them. I have a plan. So they won't die here," Dale says. Logan nods, frowning at me, but he doesn't say anything; he just walks in the direction of the lodge. Me and Dale followed behind and I held Aidan's hand. We arrived at the lodge, "The kid shot an arrow at my head if I didn't move in time. I could've died." Walker says. Everyone laughs in the lodge. Logan opens the door. They all sit at a large long table eating and talking about our situation. Morgan stands up and he seems determined to get this over with. "Mom!" Aidan ran towards Sabrina. She turns around, catching him as he lunges at her for a hug. Sabrina wears a light green shirt, with jeans. Her long silky brown hair is tied up in a ponytail. Her green eyes glimmer as tears run down her face. "Aidan, I'm so sorry." I saw joy in her eyes. I'm relieved she's not harmed in any way. "Everyone who is not in the inner circle. Give us the room, now." Most of the Raul leave. Only Noah, Gray, and Walker stay with Morgan. Morgan signs. But Noah stands. "This isn't right, they deserve to die-" Noah says as he is interrupted by Morgan. "That's enough, Noah! Those traditions are outdated, we are civilized people now." Morgan roars, shutting down Noah as all the Raul settles down with him. Hearing the voice of their Alpha. Morgan sits down thinking about himself being frustrated just as much as the others around him. "What do you propose we do about this, then?" Logan walked up to the table asking. "I have no clue, but there must be punishment. They both have broken a law in their own wills, Sabrina and Nathan are in love." Logan says as Raul at the table gasps and begins to whisper. Morgan continues to contemplate our situation. "I have an option," Dales proposes, catching everyone's interest. "Hmmm?" Morgan seemed interested. "We will just banish them, to maintain the peace forged between two families," Dale says. "Too where?" Morgan asks. "Ciphia," Dale responded. "No, we can't just let them stay here. Ciphia is too dangerous," Logan says. "They will die here if they stay here, because I will kill them. I'm only allowing you this chance, Logan, because you are one of the good Malakai I would trust my life with. You have proven that to me." Morgan says, as he stands out of his chair. Logan remains silent. "I'll take care of them." Dale says, patting Logan's shoulder. "They will be okay, I promise both of you, " Dale said, looking at both of them. "I know the town better than anyone here," Dale says. "Ciphia, it is then," Morgan replied with a bit of relief in his voice. Packing up near my birth home, to say goodbye to my family. While they may seem disappointed, they are sad. Not being able to see me for twelve years just to see me return and leave again. I went and hugged my mother. She is elderly. Her name is Joni. "Goodbye my son, I hope to see you again, and my grandson. What is his name?" She asks. "Aidan." I turned around saying. She chuckles, waving me goodbye. I turned to the side of the house to see Kai and Yuri looking at Aidan through the truck. They are both sons of Logan. Yuri has silver hair while Kai has black hair, their yellow eyes are as bright as ever. Logan pats my shoulder. "Where is the rest of the family?". I ask. "Out hunting, I guess this is goodbye little brother." Logan says. We hug each other and he pats my back. Waving at me as I got in the car with Dale, Sabrina and Aidan. "What is Ciphia?" Aidan asked Dale. "It's a wonderful place," Dale responds. Sabrina holds Aidan, massaging his braided brown hair, as Dale drives away. We all get comfortable for the long trip. "They have schools and a safe public place for you to learn. You will be able to. To obtain knowledge you won't learn in the forest like the rest of Aidan. There are also cool places for you to cook some food. Instead of using a campfire, Sabrina, you can." Dale goes on and on about this small town. I fall asleep until the truck comes to a stop.
