My son releases tension in his bow.
I pat him on his shoulder, easing his mind as he looked at the dead animal.
"Good job, Aidan," I said.
He scratched at his brown braided hair.
His mother did it for him.
It must be itchy since it's the first time his hair is like that.
Aidan's eyes weren't normal by Raul or Malakai standards; they were orange.
Raul's typically have green eyes, brown and black hair.
Malakai have yellow eyes, and several colors of hair.
That's because the Malakai lineage has expanded.
This side of Ventden Forest belongs to Raul.
We are able to hide our scent with a gel Sabrina crafted.
Applying the gel on our wrists like cologne it hides our scent
But seeing how hot it is today,
The heat may nullify the effects of the gel.
Squatting down, I reached out for the deer.
While Aidan takes out the arrow, putting it back in his quiver.
"I got it dad." Aidan says, lifting it up.
"Alright you little muscle man, we need to get home quickly before we get spotted."
I said.
We moved silently and quickly, looking for the trail back home.
I feel it, someone is watching us.
Looking down I find someone else's tracks leading towards our home.
Walking up slowly, knowing it's more than just suspicious.
Someone has been tracking us and watching us from a distance, monitoring us, waiting to make a move.
Sabrina is in trouble, we need to hurry.
"Dad, is everything OK? You seem a little tense." Aidan asks, worried.
"No, stick close to me and stay quiet. I'll handle this." I said, calming down Aidan.
"Dad, what do you want me to do?" Aidan asked, laying the deer down and inspecting the area.
"Stay here." I whispered to Aidan.
Silently running towards our home, I leave Aidan behind.
I stumble in front of our cabin, in a frenzy.
Pushing the door slightly, the lock was broken off and I began to panic.
Sabrina fought with someone recently.
I continue to inspect our cabin.
The bedroom, the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom.
I need to hurry up and get back to Aidan.
Rushing out the front door running into someone's forearm, dazed.
A tall man stands me.
As the sun shines even brighter.
There the man stands.
With long brown hair, and a bushy beard, it's Noah.
Sabrina's brother.
Raul, they are practically bears without turning into one.
He grabs me by the collar, lifting me up off my back.
"What did you do to Aidan? Where is he?" I asked.
''That half breed, his eyes aren't even yellow! Don't worry Nathan. Walker will take care of him. In the meantime, I'll beat some sense into you.`` Noah growls, baring his sharp long fangs.
Noah lifts me up by collar, throwing me into a tree nearby.
I groan after my back gets slammed into the tree.
"You will pay for what you have done, Nathan! You filthy mutt!" Noah roars.
Looking behind him in the distance near the vantage point, I left Aidan.
Another Raul approaches him, standing over him, but the arrow seems to graze another Raul's face.
"Aghh!" Walker roars at Aidan.
Walker has black long hair and is wearing a fur hoodie.
Walker also has a quiver and blade machete on his back.
I stand up as quickly as possible.
Noah sprinting towards me, rams me through the tree.
"Grah!"
Blocking in time to protect himself.
Noah gets up, picking up the tree that fell over by swinging it at me.
I leaped over the tree, sprinting at him.
He quickly spins around with the heavy tree.
Noah knocks the breath out of my body by smacking the tree.
Sending myself across the forest.
Landing on the ground.
I breathed heavily, trying to stand up.
Hearing Noah's footsteps approach faster.
I managed to get up on one knee.
"That's it?" Noah asks.
He grabs me by the collar again.
I uppercut Noah.
Noah's guard is broken and he tries to grab me.
Throwing a heavy punch on the side of his face.
He punches my chest at the same time.
Grabbing his arm after the exchange.
We both are dazed, I continue to hold his arm.
Throwing him down to the ground.
Noah groans, getting angry.
"Where is Sabrina Noah?" I asked him.
"You will never see her again. I'll make sure of it myself." Noah says, wiping the blood off his nose.
Noah begins standing up and getting free from my grip.
"You will pay for taking my sister away from us and I will kill the kid too. I always hated Malakai. "
Noah shouts, as he pushes me off.
"You're not laying a hand on any of them. This is between you and me," I said, standing up.
"Try and stop me right here now!" Noah yells.
"That's enough!"
I hear a voice in the distance and more footsteps behind the voice.
"Let me go!" Aidan shouts.
Walker holds Aidan, his face covered by the fur hood.
While his father stands next to him.
An elderly man, who is blind with white hair.
He carries a cane, next to him is assistant, Gray.
Gray has brown hair in a long braid, similar to Aidan.
Gray also wears a long fur coat.
Carrying only bow and arrow.
I turned to see Logan, my older brother, the alpha of the Malakai.
He holds Aidan's arm tightly.
Logan has black hair with yellow eyes,
Dale walks right beside him smirking.
Dale has gray hair and yellow eyes. He usually wears a brown trench coat.
With his business shirt and red tie.
Morgan, Raul's alpha, walks up to Noah.
He's the biggest guy here.
He has long black hair, a black beard and he wears a fur coat.
It's the head of a mountain lion sitting on his shoulder.
"Let's go, both of you. We will settle this with a discussion at the lodge."
Morgan speaks.
Noah grits his teeth looking the other direction, walking away.
Punching a tree, Noah nearly shatters it.
