Chapter 32 Roy's Intentions
As we leaped out of the balcony, we landed in an alleyway. Shepherd lands swiftly. My body slams against a dumpster. "Come on get up kid." Shepherd says, holding out his hand. He lifts me up and we begin to sprint away from the church. "Who is the girl?" Shepherd asks. "She's my friend." I said, looking at Catherine. She remains unconscious. "I really hope she feels the same way about you. The other kid wasn't a big fan of your moves." Shepherd says while chuckling. "You think that's funny?" I asked, frowning. "The real question is, how well do we do this girl? I don't like the idea of taking this girl back to Roy." Shepherd says. "We have no choice. She has to be safer with us than anywhere else." I say. We approach the laboratory Roy and Hayden are waiting at. Burstin
