"Nathan! Nathan!" Someone is still shouting my name. "Nathan." It was a man's voice. It's Dale's voice. "Good you are okay, you must have been extremely tired." Dale said, patting my back. "What the hell happened?" I asked. "You took a long nap, for a good six hours. Your kid is almost out of school, Nathan." Dale says, turning around to stare at me. "Right now I'm here for business. I've been following these leads or any sort of clues between me and Sanders." Dale says while parking his truck. He pulls the key out of the ignition, putting it in his pocket. "So far we have got nothing, so I'm going to ask those guys who wander the streets for information." Dale says, getting out of the truck. "What type of information?" I asked, rubbing my head. "I need a lead. What happened that night isn't going to slip from my mind, parasites occupying the residence, a mad scientist in the basement experimenting." Dale says. "So you know people who might have an idea what the hell that was?" I asked him to get out of the truck. "A few people might think this is going to be a long night. Take this as a lesson that having contact is important. These men we are about to see are called Vijot. It's possible they are descendants. Of dragon men, but these men can fly. With their huge wings, they also wielded powerful magical forces. They were called Zephyrs." Dale says. We both stepped out of the truck. Dale straightens up his tie and coat. Me and Dale walked through the dirty parking lot. We approach the pub and smells become more apparent. I catch a collection of strong scents. Blood, liquor and vomit. In front of the bar is a busted sign with a bright red R on top of the door. As we walk into the bar, men are roaring and shouting as two giant lizard beasts collide in the caged ring. The cage is big enough to hold them, they tear at each other's flesh. "Dale, it's nice to see you again, it's been a long time." A man with a flashy purple suit and yellow tie greeted Dale. "Nathan Axel, runs this fight club where beasts from all over this region visit whenever they can to place bets on their best warriors to fight here." Dale says. "Nice to meet you Nathan." Axel shook my hand. "Yeah you too." I looked behind him and I saw a young man sitting in the booth. "Who is that kid?" Dale asks. "He is an associate, why don't you come sit down and we can talk." We walked towards the booth where the kid, Axel, sat down next to him. "So what can I do for you? Is Nathan here to fight for you?" Axel says, relaxing. Dale chuckles. "No, we aren't here for that. I'm looking for information on a certain organization. I have a clue, let me just show you." Dale says as he reaches into his coat. A fire spreads around the caged ring, everyone is shouting a hooded figure's leap in the crowd. The hooded figure threw a dagger towards the young man sitting next to us. At lighting speed, the dagger bounces off his barrier. It looks similar. I've seen this somewhere before. The men in the crowd begin to attempt to attack the kid, but another hooded figure appears. Knocking a man down. "Everyone wait!" Dale shouts. Getting everyone's attention. Dale rushed out of his seat. Axel tries to stop him but it's too late. Dale approaches them, slowly. "Listen kid, we can work something out, it doesn't have to be this-" Dale was interrupted. As he is impaled by a scythe. "Dale!" I shouted, running towards him. A dagger is thrown at me, it slashes my forearm as I block trying to avoid it. The men roar enraged before turning into their beast forms while in transition from man to beast. The hooded figures take the opportunity to slay them before they become a threat. They s***h the men's heads off while targeting several of their limbs. They eventually clear a path for themselves to retreat. The enraged men are all put down, some get back up. They try to help each other recover. "Go after them! We won't get a chance like this again." Dale groans in pain. As the hooded figures make their escape. I stood up and ran outside. Trailing the two individuals, I caught up to them, there were three of them. They look like kids. All three of them stand over a corpse. "There you are!" I said. "Who are you?" One of them asked. "Why did you kill the kid? Why were you after him?" I asked, as the other two turned around on guard. "I told you, Faron, he was just stalling but it's too late." The one hooded figure with the scythe sprints towards me. Swinging the scythe, I caught it, pulling the figure towards me and punching him as hard as I could. Knocking him unconscious. "Catherine!" One of them shouts. Catherine? Pulling off the hood on the individual, her long red hair. Blood leaks from her nose. One of them sprints towards me, he pulls out several daggers between his fingers. Throwing the girl to my right side. The kid on the left tosses 5 daggers at me. I caught them with my forearm, grunting. He pulls out two more daggers, dashing at me. I pulled a dagger out of my arm. We both clash, as I block his incoming attacks. The kid ducks my s***h, shoving the dagger at my knees. "Argh!" I screamed in pain. Unable to react. He snatches the dagger out of my hand. Lunging at me with a thrust. I stop an incoming thrust by holding my hand out. He shoves the dagger through my hand. Gripping around the dagger tightly. I pulled him closer, punching him with my free arm. Knocking him back. Pushing our distance away. I could see a sinister smile underneath his hood. "Eric!" The other figure shouts as he sprints towards me. I pulled the daggers out of my knees. The second figure sprints at me, kicking my healing leg. I fell on an injured knee. He then knees me in the face. Raising his blade above me. He slashes his blade. I caught it with my other forearm. He presses against my bone. "Graaa!!" "Dammit that hurts!" I shouted. He kicked my face. My vision is clouded when I hear a small bomb go off. It's smoke, or some type of particle I can't smell or see anything. The three figures vanish. My wounds heal in my forearm and legs. As I walk back to the Pub, Dale opens the pub door with his hip. "Man, that hurts, I'm getting old." Dale says. I frowned, holding one of the daggers, handing it to Dale. Dale causally inspects it. "Don't worry Nate, I think I have an idea of who they are now." Dale says while pulling out his phone. "I'm calling Sanders to see what he has found." Dale says.
