Chapter 4 Wedding my servant husband

1315 Words
The days passed rather quickly-Walter seemed to have misunderstood what marital relations are supposed to be. I wanted to get to know him more- however, I haven't even opened up the conversation about him being my saviour. "Aren't we going to be friends forever this way?" - that was what he said about getting married. I sighed and place my head in my heads. I despised the thought having to involve another innocent soul in this, but I couldn't help it- if I stay like this and remain a threat to their position as heirs, I will die. These past few days, I've only been sitting in my hospital bed as they prepared for the wedding. My stepmother wanted me to stay in hospital for the wedding, but my father heavily insisted that we move our our venue which was done abruptly. "In the top floors of the Dean Hotel," that was where my father booked our wedding wedding- I'm surprised he could even book a venue at that Hotel-as far as I know, that hotel is worth billions of dollars. One night in a regular room can cost more than a hundred thousand dollars. I sigh, "such a waste of money." "Miss, what's wrong?" Walter suddenly appeared in front of me- his blonde heir seemed to shine as the sun's rays of the afternoon touched them delicately. His cerulean eyes greeted me as his smile turned them into crescent moons. "Miss?" He asked again as he looked at me with worried eyes. I shook my head, "What exactly was I thinking?" I slowly gained composure as I smiled at him, "What is it?" That's when I noticed it- unlike his shabby atire usually for servants, he was wearing beautiful white suit engraved with jewels and a blue flower in his pocket. "What do you think, Miss?" He turned around as he giddily showed me his outfit. "You look good, Walter," I said but that would be an understatement to say he only looked good, he looked fantastic. "They also brought yours, Miss!" He exclaimed as they showed me the white and blue dress that perfectly marches Walter. I sigh, I'm going to have a hard time wearing that right now- maybe later," Walter pointed at me- " Miss! you have to put it on now!" He started tugging on me to get up; I had no more energy to argue. "Fine," I matter as I try to get off the hospital bed. I saw his eyes sparkle with glee as he assisted me to mount the wheelchair. "Miss I'm sure it'll look so good on you!" He started blabbing on as I listened to him in silence. He has a lot to say indeed. I know it's embarrassing but during the wedding- I had be dragged around by Walter. Even during the walking down the aisle, my father had to carry me. "I, J- Walter Reign, take you Virgo Dinner Berppolt to be my wife/ husband. I promised to be true to you in good times, in sickness and in health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life," Walter starts to put the ring in my finger along his vows. I did the vows and the priest then asked both of us the question and we answered with " I dos". The whole marriage was nothing short of exchanging- I had to attend many quests while Walter had to stand behind me like a servant. " Walter, you should go around- you're my husband now, you're not a servant," I told him but he was too stubborn. He didn't even invite his little brother he cherished so much. "Now that I think about it, we might be, married but we don't even know much about each other, do we?" I thought to myself as the quests walked around. "Virgo," a familiar voice called my name and l look up to see it was- Ivan. "Ivan," I smiled- mustering all the courage I had to give him a fake smile. He shook my hand chose to ignore my husband. "Walter, this is my childhood friend, Ivan," I introduced them and Walter offered his hand, but Ivan turned to me. "I don't know you went off like that after our breakup," he called me a slut. That relationship was doomed from the bringing. "Now, you're going around with a person that eats mud-," I stopped him. "Fertio Ivanoff Genovase, please show respect to my husband," I close my eyes and I ope them to see him smirking down at me. Isn't it true though? A conglomerate's heir- marrying a servant, but could be more outrageous than this?" He shouted purposefully- everyon snickered as they agreed with him. I mean, it was that daughter of Berpolt- she seriously married a servant?" she's from a big name like Ivan to an unknown peasant, she's become a laughing stock for conglomerates," I heard this disdainful whispers of the people around . "See? Everyone agrees with me," he smirked as he grabs the wine that was being carried by a waiter. "This suits you more," he pauses as he slowly pours it over Walter's head. I gasped- frowning at his behaviors "stop-! I was about to shout when Walter grabbed me and shook his head. I see Ivan frown as he grabs a food plate and throws it on the floor, " clean this up for me, after all, isn't this your job?" I heard everyone laugh as we stand there, shamed at our own wedding. Walter was about to pick it up, bit I stopped him. "Go clean up in the bathroom first, you don't need to clean this up," he nodded and walked away to wash up. I called for the waiter to clean it up, I kept my head low as I heard the domineering voices of the quests that were obviously invited by Griselda. "I'm surprised this outrageous wedding was even held, gosh, does she have no shame?" I heard somebody whisper, but the volume was just enough for me to hear. These people came here for a reason, and it's clear what they came here for. I heard the obnoxious clacking of Griselda's heels- my father said he had to tend to an issues with his secretary, this is the perfect chance for her to strike. "Gosh, everyone- don't be too hard on my lovely daughter, she is just too blinded by love," she sarcastically said, causing laughter to erupt from the quests. "Sister, Ivan was right- you've made a fool of yourself," Gerald said- I'm just thankful neither of my two remaining brothers are here. Gerald is constrained by the fact that he is the next possible heir- h can't show violence here right now. "I mean, if you were that desperate- you could've told your brother! I've got great friends, even though they maybe in the middle class, they're much better than servants, are they not?" He exclaimed. They laughed at me as I lowered my head- the ridicule they put me through only stopped when my father came back. Eventually, they reception had to end and we were escorted to back to hospital. The doctors had to examine me for a week more before I can be completely discharged. Walter escorted them as I waved them goodbye," I'll come back to see you, my daughter!" "Walter," I called out to Walter!" I called out again as he looked like he was dazed. " Oh,-uh, miss!" He immediately ran to me and we entered the building. " Walter, you shouldn't call me Miss anymore," I said. " Huh, why?" He said- struggling to stop calling me Miss, I chuckled- I look at him briefly. "Walter," I called out to him, "Why did you save me?" He looked at me with widened eyes, I don't know you knew, "
