CHAPTER FOURTEEN I pounded down the hall and soon found myself slamming through the front doors. The fresh air of a new day shone down on me and a cool wind brushed across my cheeks, but I had no thoughts except to get to Tegan. I stopped in the center of the courtyard with the high walls of the castle surrounding me.
